Every year small towns across America are targeted because of their nativity scenes. This year is no exception.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) recently zeroed in on the small village of St. Bernard, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. The Madison, Wisconsin-based organization threatened the town with a lawsuit if they do not remove the nativity scene. However, it is actually part of a larger exhibit that includes secular symbols of the season.
According to the FFRFs attorney, Sam Grover, the display conveys a preference for religion over non-religion and for Christianity above all other faiths.
In essence, they argue the Christmas scene is not fair to other religions or the non-religious.

ILLIBERAL atheists. The actual liberal ones are ok to not believe and to let you believe as visibly as you want.
I saw a post “KEEP Saturn in Saturnalia” not long ago. My first thought was this. Tell your children why we don’t celebrate Saturnalia. (Photobucket not working for me for some reason)

We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
In reality, they’re radical Leftwingers.
Well, fine.
See you atheists at 8:00 am Monday as the other 90% of employees take their religious holiday.
I guess the only way to get the point across is ‘some African American speech maker day’ in January, because of course it would be expressing a religion to identify a preacher as having a holiday, right?
Enough is enough. It is a federal holiday. Go ahead and talk to your representative if you do not want it to be a federal holiday. And understand, you special unique and precious snowflakes, when they tell you to take a flippin’ hike.
Because by Thy Holy Cross Thou hast redeemed the world.

There it is. “small towns” These hate groups targets small towns because they understand most will cave in because the cost is fighting in the courts is ore then they can handle.
I think what The Freedom From Religion Foundation and the ACLU need is some love. Soften up those hate filled hearts of theirs, maybe just a little.
So I think I will send each of them a nice Christmas card offering them the Love and Peace that our Savior Jesus Christ has for them.
We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
adoramus Te, Domine, et benedicimus Te...

So Saturn was a democrat? Is that what you’re saying? /s
“See you atheists at 8:00 am Monday as the other 90% of employees take their religious holiday.”
Please don’t give them that idea or they will wipe out another president’s birthday to get an atheist holiday. Course without something to believe in, I have no idea what they will celebrate. And, sorry, groundhog day is already taken. So you can’t celebrate with all the other rats.
red
You got that right.........I’m wondering how “too” Christian can be a bad thing when it comes to “Christians” celebrating the birth of “Christ”. Satan is having a field day........
Atheists really hate that God they don’t believe it, don’t they?
Atheists are the children of Marx, and the enemies of America.
Keep the anus in Uranus.
IMHO, “atheists” should be encouraged to erect a display that celebrates THEIR religious beliefs as an appropriate way to “balance” their alleged concerns about historical and well-loved Christian images and symbols.
Hmmmm....?
What do you suppose a display of NOTHING would look like?
IMHO, it is time to learn if these angry folks are simply anti-Christians bigots who disguise themselves as “atheists”?
