Well, looking back, I assumed that you meant the Muslims by “they”.
And frankly, we don’t know the half of true police states. Not that the left here isn’t trying to put all the pieces in place.
The French appear to be hostages in their own country.
They have to protect all the Muslims from those nasty Christians who drive the poor Muslims insane by celebrating Christmas.
Next year they will just outlaw Christianity altogether and seize all the churches and turn them into Mosques.
After all Islam is the religion of peace. And peace can only be obtained when everyone is a Muslim. (Oh yeah, and the right kind of Muslim - whatever that is).
Or, you could deport 100,000 Moslems and watch the nation change instantly.
I suppose putting them on the border is out of the question.
