That would be a real sensible way to go. First step, rescinding Obama's EOs is a no-brainer. Next step, enforce laws already on the books. Once those actions and his appointments have a positive impact, that'll be the time to deal with new legislation. It'll give DJT time to isolate the really insane libs.
Another issue is runaway judges. Nothing is for sure until DJT can begin to appoint judges who support the Constitution.

Sanctuary cities are all about taxpayers’ money. Federal funds to schools are per capita (for each head). The more illegals in the schools, the more money the cities get. Same for federal assistance for medical, housing, and for feeding and clothing these illegals. Federal money for illegals is a major part of sanctuary cities’ budgets. City leaders are trying to protect the influx of taxpayers’ money.
The showdown will be with Sessions - and he has his big irons on and tied down with the thong off....

What Attorney General Jeff Sessions needs to do is allow lawsuits to be brought against the mayors and politicians of so-called sanctuary cities. The families of victims who were murdered by illegal Invaders should be allowed to sue these mayors and politicians of sanctuary cities. It would bring all of this to a halt pronto. Once these people are sued individually and hurt in their own pocketbooks, it would all end.
There’s a flood of Biblical proportions, coming in 2017. A flood of stories about apprehended illegals, each one a Bob Cratchit and all his Tiny Tims hobbling through the gears of the bureaucracy.
More egregiously.....if the source of local funds for sanctuary cities is tax-free bonding monies, govt officials can be prosecuted since investors in municipal bonding (perhaps transportation and education bonding) were not advised about the uses of public money.
