Former Democratic Virginia Senator and 2016 candidate Jim Webb had a friendly reminder to former President Bill Clinton, who mocked President-elect Donald Trump’s intelligence and said that his 1992 win over President George H.W. Bush was a real landslide. Trump clinched the presidency over Hillary Clinton with 304 electoral votes to her 227 (via Fox News): . . .

Webb is a partial birth abortion guy who voted for obamacare and SWITCHED to the dem party just a few years ago. Please let’s not all start gagging on his little giggle pin just cause he occasionally says bad things about dems who are in the party that he loves.

I remember very clearly a TV interview of Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan, immediately after Slick Willy's election in 1992.

The interviewer was a bubbly young female reporterette, and Moynihan was this old codgerly guy.

At one point, the reporterette, referring to Slick Willy's resounding victory over George Bush (43-37%), asked "is this a mandate," and Moynihan, seemingly annoyed at the term "mandate," hesitated a moment, and said "well, it's all the mandate we're going to get."

Bill also said that the FBI cost Hillary the election, and that Trump’s main asset was convincing angry, white men to vote for him.

Did he forget that 53 percent of white women voted for Trump?

Oh, and 62 percent of white working class women voted for Trump.

It’s not just angry white dudes, Democrats.

Great post...

“Well, Slick did win the Electoral College 370 to 168.”

With just a couple more hundred electoral votes, Bush would have lost narrowly.

That’s right, it was a landslide.

We should never talk about the imaginary “popular vote” for any reason except to say there is no such thing. Trying to use the fantasy vote to our advantage just makes it seem legitimate, and that’s a big mistake.

You can’t win or lose that which doesn’t exist.

Clinton won in a landslide under the rules, let him have it. It doesn’t mean a thing now.

Had it not been for that little weasel Ross Perot, we would not have had to put up with 8 years of Bill Clinton and almost 4 years of Hillary running for president. Now Ross Perot says he is a Republican. Ha!

Ross Perot and his interference in 1992 was so obviously on the democratic side, but not too many people realized it. One of my best friends was fooled. He was part of the 20% who voted for him, thereby denying George H. W. Bush a second term.

Thanks Ross Perot! Because of you we had to put up with the Clintons for all these years since 1992.

If the nation would’ve listened to that lil weasel, we wouldn’t have lost millions of good paying jobs.

That was not his intention in running. He was there to syphon off Republican votes. If you remember, he had dropped out of the running, but he came back into the race when Bill Clinton’s numbers started to fall fast. He came back into the running claiming that the Republicans were creating phony pictures of his daughter in compromising positions.

Ross Perot hated Bush Sr. It centered on Bush’s refusal to let Ross run an attempt to deal with POW”s and MIA’s.
