If you remember, he had dropped out of the running, but he came back into the race when Bill Clinton’s numbers started to fall fast. He came back into the running claiming that the Republicans were creating phony pictures of his daughter in compromising positions.
Ross Perot hated Bush Sr. It centered on Bush’s refusal to let Ross run an attempt to deal with POW”s and MIA’s.
That's nonsense, respectfully. Ross Perot is a good man and a patriot. He created thousands of jobs in the companies he ran and folks who worked for him commented that he expected allot from his employees, but was a very generous man with integrity.
Furthermore, it was Ross Perot that financed from his own pocket a mercenary team to rescue his employees taken hostage during the uprisings in Iran.
The republicans ran George Bush...a globalist and moderate at best. He lost because so many disliked him. Bill Clinton...well ol Billy boy was a complete embarrassment, but was a slick tawker.
If H.Ross Perot had been elected, NAFTA would never have happened and we'd not put so many American workers in the soup line.
