Im upset by the 2 faithless. 2 now, how many in 2020? I expect that the system will be tightened up between now and 2020.

I hope those two faithless electors have their lives literally ruined. To break your word on something that important is reprehensible.

Of the two Texas Faithless, one went for Ron Paul and the other for John Kasich.
Hillary lost at least 4 Faithless in the State of Washington. Three votes for Colin Powel and the other for Sky. She would have lost far more in Colorado, Minnesota, and Maine which were disallowed.
Hillary Cries Again.

H-> DID NOT get a majority of the votes cast nationwide.

The Republican party has to fix this. No just the states whose laws permit it.
To: samtheman
Im upset by the 2 faithless. 2 now, how many in 2020? The Republican party has to fix thisThey also have to strengthen the laws and increase the penalty for anyone harassing an elector, trying to intimidate an elector, and most importantly, making physical threats against an elector.
To: CptnObvious
I know the one guy from Texas (Chris Suprun?) said he ran unopposed and was elected an elector at the Texas Republican state convention. I suppose one way to avoid faithless electors is to not determine who the state electors are, is to not determine who the electors are until the candidate is determined.
But that would put all of the actual elector determinations between the national convention and the actual general election. That might be difficult to accomplish in a few months time.

Those two will never be invited back, that’s for sure.
I find it Hillary-ous that the Cankled One lost twice as many to defection as the Next President of the United States.

Have all states pass legislation requiring electors to vote as per the state’s popular vote. Period. Like happened in Maine. Elector tried to vote for someone else, that vote was called invalid and they revoted to get it right.
