Obama Warns Trump Against Using Too Many Executive Orders
BY: Jack Heretik December 19, 2016 11:34 am
President Obama warned his successor, Donald Trump, to not overuse executive orders when he enters the White House in an interview aired Monday.
Obama spoke with NPR and warned President-elect Trump against exercising his authority to issue executive orders because they can be undone by the next president as easily as he signs them, United Press International reported.
After stressing that he always preferred to pass legislation through Congress rather than use executive orders, Obama gave his explanation as advice to Trump.
Keep in mind, though, that my strong preference has always been to legislate when I can get legislation done, the president told NPR. In my first two years, I wasnt relying on executive powers, because I had big majorities in the Congress and we were able to get bills done, get bills passed. And even after we lost the majorities in Congress, I bent over backwards consistently to try to find compromise and a legislative solution to some of the big problems that weve gota classic example being immigration reform, where I held off for years in taking some of the executive actions that I ultimately took in pursuit of a bipartisan solution.
So my suggestion to the president-elect is, you know, going through the legislative process is always better, in part because its harder to undo, Obama said.

No, Barkey, you can’t stay in office for the next four years no matter what experience you gathered between tea times and vacations...
Or what? Will Obama put on his big girl panties and throw a fit?
This clown and his husband remind me of a program on fifty’s TV. Difference is, they were trying to be funny.
PROJECTION is a psychological defense mechanism in which individuals attribute characteristics they find unacceptable in themselves to another person.

President Obama warned Russia on Friday not to wage cyberwarfare against the United States, saying, “We can do stuff to you” as he defended his handling of Moscow’s alleged hacking of Democrats’ emails to influence the 2016 election.
“Our goal continues to be to send a clear message to Russia or others not to do this to us, because we can do stuff to you,” Obama told reporters at his final press conference of 2016.

Before the election, Obama had no regrets about his presidency.
Now Obama suddenly has (albeit secret) regrets about his presidency.
Priceless.
STFU and FUBO
The jokes just write themselves.
President Trump Executive Order #1: All Obama Executive Orders are repealed. No exceptions.
Is this article a joke???
Have to clean the spray off my screen, but he actually said that????, Mr “I have a pen and a phone” who wrote scads of executive orders like nobody’s business, He just needs to keep quiet and go away, far, far, far away,
Obama is flopping around like a fish out of water; damaging his legacy.,p.
He never learned the lesson of letting other handle the dirty work.
If Trump restricts his use of Executive Orders only to undo the anti-Constitutional excessive, corrosive, and destructive use of Executive Orders by his POS predecessor named Barack Obama, I am fully on board with that.
