A flood of emails, phone calls and letters isn't expected to influence the decisions of Tennessee's 11 members of the Electoral College when they cast their ballots...
Donald Trump overwhelmingly carried Tennessee last month, and the state's Republican electors say they would wholeheartedly cast their ballots for Trump even if state law didn't require them to support the winner. [snip]

"And if they are inclined to, in my opinion, they should resign their position as an elector and allow for another one to be appointed."... he's not heard from any fellow electors about any second thoughts about voting for Trump.
The heavy influx of calls and correspondence seeking to sway them not to vote for Trump has taken a toll on electors, some of whom have had to change their email addresses or stop answering their cellphones. Elector Tom Lawless, a Nashville attorney, puts the chances at him changing his vote for Trump at zero.
"Hell will freeze and we will be skating on the lava before I change," Lawless said. "He won the state and I've pledged and gave my word that that's what I would do. And I won't break it.

Tennesseans, much like Texans, don’t cater to the liberal wills of their urbanite liberal bastions. Course we don’t have half of the illegal influx Texas does. I sincerely believe the popular vote was legitimately Trumps due my scientific yard sign observations (eight Trumps for each Hillary). Factor in the illegal motor voters, the duplication and the zombies who just had to stay up a bit after Halloween to get that Democrat vote in.
When was the last time a political party launch a major country wide ad campaign to influence the vote of the electoral college? If any electors come to harm, treason trials should follow.
If he was faithless, he'd be a democrat. The disappointing part is that it's even news for electors to keep their word.
In two years, Rats can ask the people to give them impeachable majorities in Congress but until then they are SOL.
It WILL BE a VERY LONG time before Dems have control again, they have just acted SOOOOOO ridiculous over this election the American public is appalled!!! Once Trump gets his hands on the education dept. we will be well on our way to correcting this ship!!! Immigration laws BEING FOLLOWED will also have a huge impact!!!!

Yet another reason to be delighted that we fled SoCal for E Tennessee in 2015.

There are 2 very blue counties, Memphis and Nashville, they are the largest crime infested cities in TN, and their counties. Both out vote the surrounding the smaller conservative cities. Otherwise there are a few tiny counties that may be blue because they are heavy black dems. Memphis is Black DEM controlled. And is sinking fast as the Titanic. Murder rate up 17% this year alone.

Only places that are PC are malls, and some libtrad run cities. We are in Tipton Co, Atoka, just over the Shelby Co line, out of Memphis, noticed the crime rate was up this year, as they are coming out of Memphis. Older people are the targets. Mostly home break ins, but have had several shot to death.
We have to have a very Conservative GOV this next go round, that is not sidewinder crooked corker. He has the money bags, and we need only 1 conservative to run. 2 and it splits the vote. And crook wins.

What about our governor? From what little I’ve seen thus far, he’s no Greg Abbot.
I’ve heard good stuff come from the Lt Governor though.
Lt Gov Ramsey is retiring, Sen Mark Norris is his right hand man, very conservative.

Bobbie Patray heads it and has for years, she keeps up with both state and fed and will put you on the news letter list for alerts to call either state or fed congress critters. If you do FB look up Tony Shipley he is a former rep, active duty National Guard. He keeps you updated too. He is on my FB. It is nearly totally political and Christian. Some times my relatives get a post in once in a while. LOL they are just as conservative as we are just not active. My sis is to busy working and taking care of her hubby who has MD, and trying to put their lives back together from the wildfire. They were lucky, their boss kept them on to do clean up, he drives the golf cart that takes employees to and from their parking lot, as he can barely walk with aid, and they will have jobs when West Gate is rebuilt. Surviving until it is will be the hard part.
