Racially motivated, civil rights-era killings that are now cold cases will get fresh looks under legislation signed by President Barack Obama.
Obama signed the bill Friday. It indefinitely extends a 2007 law that calls for a full accounting of race-based deaths, many of which had been closed for decades. The law was set to expire next year.
The bill is named after Emmett Till, a 14-year-old black boy killed in 1955 after whistling at a white woman. His killers were acquitted of murder but later admitted their crimes to a reporter and couldn’t be retried. …

Uhhh, whistling at a white woman, following her into the store she operated while she was alone and grabbing her by the wrist, saying he had lots of white girlfriends back home in Chicago? That boy?

And she told her husband, who had been away working on a fishing trawler . . . and things didn't go well for the "boy" after that. How exactly does a president "void" legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by a previous president? Please explain.
Is he going to re-investigate the Zebra Killings in the SF area back in 1973-74 where as many as 71 white people were murdered by Black Muslims? Four were arrested and convicted for some of the murders, but most of the murders are unsolved. There are thousands of other black on white murders that have gone unsolved across the country.
Yes - have to keep rubbing salt in those wounds to keep them open, to keep blacks aggrieved, to keep them on the D-vote plantation.
