Evolutionists Couldn’t Have Been More Wrong About Antibiotic Resistance

Dec. 15, 2016

A colony of bacteria similar to the one analyzed in the study being discussed. (click for credit) A colony of bacteria similar to the one analyzed in the study being discussed. (click for credit) Back when I went to university, I was taught (as definitive fact) that bacteria evolved resistance to antibiotics as a result of the production of antibiotics. This was, of course, undeniable evidence for the fact that new genes can arise through a process of mutation and natural selection. Like most evolution-inspired ideas, however, the more we learned about antibiotic resistance in bacteria, the more we learned that there was a problem.

And how’s that working out for them? Without reason you can’t build a world. Reason is how we figure things out, reason is how we invent, reason is how we avoid being morons. God gave us the capacity for both, USE THEM.

How old is the author. At least in agriculture we were taught gene expression. There was great genetic diversity. Do they even teach Mendel peas anymore?

Just because you refuse to open your eyes and look doesn’t mean there isn’t something to see. The Tree, and more importantly the science of Taxonomy that made it, has ALL your answer. All you gotta do is stop being willfully ignorant. The world of evolution, a self correcting, self adjusting, self maintaining world, is MUCH more amazing than any 7 day creation story. You limit yourself in the saddest way possible, you force yourself to see the world as less amazing than it truly is. Open your eyes to the FULL WONDER.

I am a trained and licensed engineer. There are huge problems with the theory of evolution. You are closed minded dogmatic, your belief system requires evolution to be looked at as a religion.

I would like your opinion on my post 99.

“That’s still a genetic adaptation.”
Not of the type necessary to support the production of new genetic information, which is a key point evolutionists need to demonstrate to support their thesis.

If clear communication was the goal, genetic expression would be more proper. Evolution means a lot of different things. Genetic adaptation has that flavor of teenage mutant ninja turtles..............

Oh look appeal to authority, and ad hominem. So now that we both know you lack facts to support your argument you really should give up.

As for your post 99, the “no transition” argument is the classic argument from ignorance. The ENTIRE fossil record are transition species. Anybody saying there are no transition species are announcing that they are closed minded dogmatics who can’t be bothered to look at evidence.

Dead bacteria do not reproduce at all. Therefore the bacteria who do reproduce...at any rate...have an advantage.

Disadvantage compared with those without the mutation.

So far you haven’t demonstrated that you have any specific knowledge or understanding of whatever information is contained in “the Tree.”

My question to you: What species came before dogs?

Actually I demonstrated how the thing works, and supplied you with the ability to answer your own questions. All you need to do is engage your brain.

“Disadvantage compared with those without the mutation.”

Okay, I’ll write slowly so you can pay attention this time:

Dead bacteria are dead. They do not reproduce at all.

The bacteria that remain that can reproduce (at any rate) therefore have an advantage.

You are the closed minded one. Address the issue of baby man #1 in post 99. I will listen to your arguments. JUST MAKE A CASE WILL YA?

Okay, I need to engage my brain. That’s a reasonable request. I’m sure it’s safe to assume you’ve done so.

So on the chance that perhaps you know more about this than me, I’d like to ask for some help.

What does the Tree tell us about the relationship between species, and their chronological order, on the trajectory of evolution? (It’s clear the Tree is presented as a trajectory.)

Particularly, I would like names of species present on this trajectory just prior to the species they preceded in the evolutionary process. For any given species n, let’s call the species that preceded it -n. And the species preceding -n we’ll call - -n, and so on.

All I’m asking for is -n for a half dozen or so of any species you choose. If you can provide the - -n for each, that would be even better.

Thanks for your cooperation.

We’re not comparing mutated bacteria with dead bacteria.

We’re comparing mutated bacteria with non-mutated bacteria.

The only “issue” in your post 99 is your own complete lack of understanding of the chain BETWEEN homo erectus and homo sapiens. So the case is: yo don’t know what you’re talking about.

The tree tells us EVERYTHING about the relationship between species.

I gave you links to ALL those species. Some don’t include the names, some do. Click on them. Do further reading. It’s all really easy google searches “evolutionary chain to {your species here}”. You have been led to water, drink it.

What is that "chain". Is that a religious term? Home Erectus and Home Sapien are tow distinct species. No fosil record exist that I know of of a hybrid Homo Erectus/Sapein. Basically a Home Erectus is a Homo Sapien with a very distinct and different skull.

Please make a case or STHU.

In this circumstance the non-mutated bacteria are not resistant to anti-biotics and they’re dead.

The big thing you’re missing is that the situation is very messy. At the same time you have Erectus you also have Habilis, and then there’s Neanderthal and yes there ARE fossils showing combinations of these that eventually leads to Sapiens. Check out things like heidelbergensis. A big problem the anti-science folks run into is that you over simplify everything, then act like the fact that it doesn’t fit into your simple model means the science is wrong. Meanwhile, out in reality, things are messy, transitions are rough, multiple species in the same chain coexist as one takes over, they interbreed, this causes short lived off shoots.

The more abusive you get the more we both know you’re full of crap. Meanwhile, I got stuff to do. But don’t let that stop you from throwing more insults that serve no purpose but to prove you wrong.
