With fewer than 40 days remaining as first lady, Michelle Obama is continuing to reflect on the legacy she and President Obama will leave after having occupied the White House for the last eight years. In a new interview with Oprah Winfrey, the first lady addressed the election outcome and suggested that the U.S. is entering a time of hopelessness.
We are feeling what not having hope feels like, Obama told Winfrey in response to a question about whether President Obama had achieved the hope and change he promised while campaigning in 2008. As she often did while campaigning for Hillary Clinton, she didnt mention President-elect Donald Trump by name. But she alluded to the contrast many in the country are feeling since he won the election last month. We feel the difference now, she said, noting that her husband had succeeded in keeping his campaign promise of fostering hope. Hope is necessary. Its a necessary concept, she elaborated. And Barack didnt just talk about hope because he thought it was a nice slogan to get votes. He and I and so many believed that what else do you have if you dont have hope? Yeah great dispare. Won’t be able to run up 85 million in vacation bills to the taxpayers. So sad.
Hope in one had defecate in the other...
Yhe Demorats will not have any hope, hopefully for many years to come.
F Hillary and Michelle bitches.
Up yours squirrel face. Start living in reality.
You took 8 productive years out of the life of this country.
I could see why the Obamas would feel hopeless. He is going to end up as the King Tut of American Presidents. His legacy will be wiped away so thoroughly the only memory of him will be the debt.
I know it's a photoshop butt I like it anyway
The angry black woman is back!
why don’t you just crap on the floor in the front foyer on your way out the door.
That would be just as classy
With a little help, I think she's on to something there.
I’ve been reminded for eight freaking years. My eyes and ears and mind have been thoroughly and unwillingly familiarized about these people. If I never see another picture of Michelle or Barack or never hear from them again, it will be too soon.
Does this mean she’s not proud of the country anymore????
[Hope in one hand and defecate in the other...]
and if Michelle had balls she’d be............. oh wait.
I’ll say it, she came in a b!try and will leave a b!tch. No growth while in office as a person.
So did Rush - very uncharacteristic of him to be so completely upset about someones comments.
Somewhere, a beautiful horse is dead so that the Wookie could have a head of hair for a night.
Her personal staff of 21 is gone as of 1/20/17.
And no more vacations every Christmas to Hawaii with AF 1 and AF 2 filled with their scummy entourage.
The hopelessness is because we have to wait 5 more weeks!
Actually we’re leaving a time of hopelessness.
