With fewer than 40 days remaining as first lady, Michelle Obama is continuing to reflect on the legacy she and President Obama will leave after having occupied the White House for the last eight years. In a new interview with Oprah Winfrey, the first lady addressed the election outcome and suggested that the U.S. is entering a time of hopelessness.
We are feeling what not having hope feels like, Obama told Winfrey in response to a question about whether President Obama had achieved the hope and change he promised while campaigning in 2008. As she often did while campaigning for Hillary Clinton, she didnt mention President-elect Donald Trump by name. But she alluded to the contrast many in the country are feeling since he won the election last month. We feel the difference now, she said, noting that her husband had succeeded in keeping his campaign promise of fostering hope. Hope is necessary. Its a necessary concept, she elaborated. And Barack didnt just talk about hope because he thought it was a nice slogan to get votes. He and I and so many believed that what else do you have if you dont have hope? What do you give your kids if you cant give them hope?
Those are philosophical questions that the nation will no doubt begin to grapple with in earnest over the coming months. And theyre not the first contemplative remarks the first lady, who has earned a special place in Americans hearts, has made recently. I have hope. I hope they die soon enough for me to be able to piss on their graves.
Unfortunately I don’t think I will live long enough to do that. But I do have hope that I will be able to piss on both of the Xlintons graves. So I have that going for me.
She and her husband will never go away. they will be on show after show. The media will go to them asking what they think about what Trump is doing.

Good riddance, trannie couple!
Why are those two women following that maid?
It is going to be a schtruggle to have hope!
I see what you did there.
“President Snow: Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear. A little hope is effective. A lot of hope is dangerous. A spark is fine, as long as it’s contained.”

She’s going to grow into an old bitter lady.
She was all set to vent this way in 2012 blaming racists for kicking her husband out of office after one term. She didn’t even want to be there another 4 years.
She's only interested in no-show jobs.
Are you sure about that?
It is true, but the hopelessness will be over in 30 days or so
Can I guess that she is once again no longer proud of this country?
I’ll never give up Hope. He’s my favorite comedian.
Man I wish Michael would just go away. He’s the one with no hope.
There’s nothing hopeless in shedding the oppressive yoke of Marxist rule.
January 20th 2017 should officially be declared “Freedom Day” for our great Republic.
Once Trump is in, he and his ex-president husband will just be the butt of jokes.
Only in her tiny little mind.
Listening to all the awful things she’s said the last 8 years.. She’s still just as miserable as she was right from the get go. Someone as angry as her and her husband, don’t have it in them to be truly happy and grateful people.
