On Wednesday, President-elect Donald Trump added three more high-profile CEOs Pepsi (PEP) CEO Indra Nooyi, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick, and Tesla (TSLA) CEO Elon Musk to his Strategic and Policy Forum.
My Administration is going to work together with the private sector to improve the business climate and make it attractive for firms to create new jobs across the United States from Silicon Valley to the heartland, Trump said in a statement.
With Pepsis Nooyi on board, expect there to be plenty of discussion about some serious issues.
Just two days after the election, Nooyi, a Hillary Clinton supporter, spoke at the Dealbook Conference.
Is there a box of tissues here? Nooyi responded when asked by Andrew Ross Sorkin for her reaction to the election results. Ill tell you, first of all, I want to congratulate President Donald Trump. Because the election is over, I think, we should mourn for those of us who supported the other side, but we have to come together and life has to go on.
She added that she had to answer a lot of questions from both her employees.
They were all in mourning. My employees were all crying. The question that they are asking, especially those who are not white Are we safe? Women are asking, Are we safe? LGBT people are asking, Are we safe? I never thought I would have to answer those questions.
She continued: So, I think that the first thing that we have to do is to assure everyone living in the United States will be safe. Nothing has changed because of this election. What we heard was election talk and we will all come together and unify as a country. So, the process of democracy happened. We just have to let life go on.

Screw you, tramp
#BoycottPepsico
rename pepsi to ‘pussy’ and be done with it.
That’s because the moron forgot to run a business and ran a social commentary company instead. Pepsi products suck. They give me the shits.
Oh Pepsi, don’t you have another Jackson to light on fire?
I drink Diet Pepsi, and I’m no liberal.
I remember when Carter, Clinton, and Obama were elected.
It was a definite downer, but as you said, who cries at that stuff? Conservatives bear down and know that their day is a coming.
Here we are. Let the good times roll...

And I haven’t purchased even one Pepsi (or subsidiary thereof) product for the 40 days since she first publicly said these B.S. Idiotic lies.
Prior to that I spent about 20 dollars a week on her products. I hope at least a million other people with similar consumption rates have boycotted them....
See how her Board of Directors like sales to be down by $20 million a week.
sugar water poison.
Actually Pepsico sold them off a few years ago.
Taco Bell, Pizza Hut and KFC are now owned by YUM! Brands.
They also are not buying any Stupor Bowl ads this year.
Pepsi sells deadly “food” products.
Royal Crown
Maybe SNL can do a skit on Pepsi and Pelosi!
Sweetheart, if too many employees were crying it means (1) you need to fire your head of HR and (2) maybe you’ve been hiring too many women and too many girly-men.
Thanks for the info, I stand corrected.
Lady, you better hope that wasn’t “just election talk”. We didn’t vote for a politician; we voted for someone who promised to get rid of politics as usual, and we expect him to do that. If we should stabbed in the back, (and I don’t think we will) there will be trash to haul out of the White House in four years. I’m betting on Trump, and glad you have decided to go along, but don’t think for a minute that things are going to be business as usual.
Yes, tell the American people Pepsi is run by idiots who thought Hillary was a decent candidate. Especially if you don’t want to sell to half of America.
“My employees were all..”
Her employees knew she supported Hillary, and if they were smart and wanted to keep their jobs any of them that supported Trump would likely not dare make this known.
