Ali Wentworth, the wife of ABC host George Stephanopoulos, said Tuesday on “The View” that the couple’s teenage daughters are scared following Donald Trump’s election victory.

While discussing the 2016 presidential election with the hosts of ABC’s show “The View,” Wentworth described how her daughters were handling Hillary Clinton’s loss.

“I have an eleven-year-old daughter who doesn’t really understand what ISIS is but she knows that she is scared and she is now sleeping in bed with us every night,” Wentworth said.

“Yeah, so what do you do? You got little girls, you see what’s happening,” co-host Whoopi Goldberg responded. “What can you say to other parents who are at their wit’s end with their children who are scared, and they’re also scared as adults?”

Wentworth responded to Goldberg before she continued describing the distress her children have felt since election night.

“It just involves my fourteen-year-old getting upset about the election and screaming ‘no abortions’ really loudly,” Wentworth recalled.

Before the election, I had a talk with my ten year old daughter about ISIS.

I explained that Obama is a Muslim, and that Muslims want to destroy our country and kill us.

She took it pretty good. She was happy that Trump won and that Obama, a threat to her life, is being removed.

Aside: Back in 1995 when I was in law school in DC, I ran into George with some skanky chick in a Blockbustser video store one Saturday afternoon on Connecticut Avenue. That’s odd, my three daughters are jumping up and down with happiness that Trump won. Especially my youngest, who at 18 years old voted for the first time ever.

An 11-year-old and a 14-year-old are not “little girls”. If the story is true, these idiots have deliberately frightened the 11-year-old. And why have they not told her what ISIS is?

If the 14-year-old is really yelling, “No abortions”, I’d call that success.

Does it ever occur to these people that WE might be afraid of THEM? That we are afraid that our views on gay marriage, for example, will cause us to lose our businesses and our livelihood, or be fined $130,000?

That if we have the wrong opinions about politics, we will be driven out of business, out of "polite," liberal society?

That we will have mobs wearing shirts with clenched fists at our doorstep? That if we are invited to speak on college campuses, we will be shut down with threats of violence and shouts of intimidation?

That we will beaten up when we emerge from a Trump rally? That people will steal our Trump signs and punch us in the face if we try to stop them?

That we will be denied college admission, or denied teaching positions, if something in our resume suggests we are conservative?

The 11 year old doesn't understand what ISIS, but is "scared" now ( why wasn't she absolutely PETRIFIED, these last 8 years? ) and is sleeping in her parents' bed? AND THEY LET HER...AT 11?

The 14 year old is "worried" that she won'/t be able to have an abortion? WHAT IS THIS GIRL OUT DOING AND WHY DOESN'T SHE KNOW ABOUT BIRTH CONTROL? Goodness knows, they teach about it in school, today and WHY doesn't her parents just tell her to keep her legs together?
