The only force hostile to the United States that was attempting to manipulate the election in favor of one candidate over the other was the so-called Mainstream Media. Since the so obviously failed in their attempt to manipulate the election by using #fakenews and #fakepolls, they are busy thrashing about looking for someone to blame.
They view Trump as the person who has convinced the majority of people that the media is dishonest, and they have been almost totally discredited. They are now in full-scale attack mode in an effort to discredit Trump’s victory over them and their chosen candidate. Look for more and more #fakenews, and wild conspiracy theories over the next 4 years. Don’t even be surprised if they don’t encourage someone to attempt and assassination in the coming months.
