Can’t we make heroin illegal???
Well, the solution to this awful problem is an easy one: Let’s just make heroin illegal. Just like guns, ban it, and that’ll solve the problem.

Heroin is very cheap and easy to get now that the border is wide open and the poppies are blooming in Afganistan.
Now, some of the death rate increase is due to prescription opiates, but once a drug user or addict starts on heroin, there’s no going back. Heroin binds a lot tighter to opiate receptors than the prescription opiates, that why it’s so addictive. In fact, as doctors are pressured to stop prescribing opiates for chronic pain, some patients are turning to heroin because if the withdrawal syndrome.
Stop heroin importation and the deaths from heroin will drop.
Outlawing drugs will fix the problem
Guess we should start giving out free guns like we give out free syringes so gun deaths can get back on track.
