Megyn Kelly has, as of late, been receiving death threats and is now under the watch of armed guards, notes the New York Times.

The Guardian reports that the Fox News host holds Trump's transition team member and campaign social media director Dan Scavino partially responsible.

According to The Guardian, Kelly said at a Tuesday night Washington, D.C. event, "It's that far corner of the internet that really enjoys nastiness and threats and unfortunately there is a man who works for Donald Trump whose job it is to stir these people up and that man needs to stop doing that. His name is Dan Scavino."

However, according to someone close to the situation, she has absolutely no intention of leaving! All this talk about jumping networks is just a negotiating ploy.

Does anyone actually believe that she would leave a job paying millions more money at a top network to take a job making millions less at a failing network? LOL! Her team is trying to make it seem like everyone wants her and that this is a very competitive negotiation. They don’t, and it’s not. In fact, given that she isn’t attracting that much interest anywhere else, [her current network’s] execs are now talking about how they can LOWER their original offer!

If I were The Donald, Megyn Kelly, wherever she ends up working, would never get a single interview from me again, nor from anybody in my administration. Period. I wouldn’t announce it (she’d be a shrieking shrew nonstop), I’d just do it & eventually, she’ll catch on. I would treat her as ‘not existing’ with her name never being mentioned and for someone with her ego & dare I say ‘narcissistic’ characteristics, that would be an aggravating & frustrating penalty to pay for being nastily anti-Trump from the get-go & continuing such behavior AND she would have no one associated with Trump to blame for ‘death threats’. Plus, when you never manage to get an interview with the president or anyone in his administration, I would think your employer might find that paying 20 mill is a bit steep.
