The U.N.’s humanitarian aid coordination agency says it and partners require a record $22.2 billion next year to help people hit by conflict and disasters around the world, a 10 percent increase from this year.
The appeal announced Monday from the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs seeks to help nearly 93 million people in 33 countries — nearly two-thirds of them in Africa. More than one-third of the total appeal — $8.1 billion — aims to help people in Syria and refugees from it, and another $4.4 billion would support people inside or fleeing war-torn Yemen and South Sudan.

Yes. Then the UN ought to pony up the money. The US cannot because we are severely in debt, in many instances to the UN masters themselves.

Congress needs to help out here. They should pass a resolution wishing the UN good luck in its efforts.
I agree. I have never seen a spread sheet of what every country in the world contributes to humanitarian efforts in total nor have I seen a spreadsheet where birth control use is graphed against income and need for humanitarian money from others.
Let’s see that first.

How many more centuries is it going to take of us digging latrines and wells before these people grasp the idea or is it because they’re smart enough to let someone else do it for them, hum.
Since Trump can’t use the Oval Office and NYC is protesting any of the family staying in NYC, then Trump should kick the UN out and relocate the WH there. Two birds, one stone.
They are always going to say “needed”.
