Almost a month after Hillary Clintons loss to Donald Trump, recriminations are still flying among liberals and Democrats.
At least one prominent Clinton loyalist has turned his fire on Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), arguing that the left-wingers challenge wounded the former secretary of State ahead of her general election campaign.
Sanders partisans, meanwhile, say that he would have been a better candidate than Clinton to win over an electorate hungry for change.
Both sides express concern that re-litigating the primary battle could be a distraction, wasting energy that would be better spent resisting President-elect Trump.
But even if all sides agree in theory on the need to focus on Trump, not everyone is ready to leave the primary in the past.
Peter Daou, the former chief executive of Shareblue, an online venture described by the New York Times as Hillary Clintons outrage machine, blasted Sanders on Twitter this week.
Ill be crystal clear: Bernie Sanders has absolutely no business determining the course of the Democratic Party after the harm he did to us, Daou wrote in one tweet.

lol. Bernie really did #### things up for her, at least a little.
The yoots might have held their noses and voted for the beast if they hadn’t found a new hero and then saw him get the primary stolen from him.
There is one person to blame above all others. Hillary Clinton. Who is now a two-time loser as a presidential candidate.
Maybe people get bored of the same old, same old... Just sayin
It’s Obama’s fault.
Why not blame Hillary Clinton? She barely campaigned. It wasn’t Trump that set up her server.
Also, a lot weren’t motivated to vote for her ....
- Wall Street connections
- War monger
- corruption
- failure as SOS
- jobs
- economy
- the list is long .....
Too true, It’s all Hillary. A liar, a crook, a future felon, your ex wive’s mother, she repelled voters. Oh did I mention she ran on the platform, I deserve to be president. Horrible, horrible person. It’s all Hillary all the time.
Somehow the thought that if she could not successfully stand up to an old socialist she could not have been able to stand up to pretty much anybody. She had to cheat to win and it was widely known that she bought him off. Ugly stuff and exactly the stuff that Trump was campaigning against.
The DNC has nobody to blame but themselves. They allowed the Clintons to bully them into handing Hillary the nomination on a silver platter.
Not a word about cooperation and putting the interests of the nation first.
They are twisting slowly in the wind. Beautiful!
FEEL THE LOVE!
Oh, so nice!
Trump WON!
She and Mitt Romney have something in common....
Ha. Good one.
Oh, please. Even our most Democrat acquaintances knew that Sanders believes in unicorns that pooped Skittles.
Yes, there are far-left progressives out there. But, they would have been trounced in the general election.
The "electorate hungry for change" didn't want to go further left of where we've already gone for the past 8 years.
I’ve got to believe that the strategic Dems (yeah, it could happen) have already moved past Hillary and Angry Santa to select younger blood for 2020. Sanders is too old and Hillary failed badly. The foundation $$ will dry up - who would bet on her now?
The Dems have four years to position and promote new leaders. In a couple of years the new blood will emerge. Watch for it.
We should enjoy the victory without short-selling the enemy.
Bernie was a Hillary dupe from the beginning. He was just a little too successful against Hillary, and seeing that Bernie decided to stray off the script of making Hillary look good and go for it all himself. Bottom line is Hillary was a lousy candidate for the Democrats and a good many of their OWN voters are tiring of the corporate party they have morphed into.
This
The wikileaks stuff that showed the primary strategy to destroy Bernie, and the knee jerk reaction to fire blabbermouth sealed the deal for a lot of the millennials
They stayed home, or voted Trump or stein
This loss was self inflicted. Hubris, et al
The beast will never admit that, though.
