Khalid Sheik Mohammed: George W. Bush's Shock and Awe Response to 9/11 Prevented Other Attacks
Far from trying to draw us in, KSM said that al-Qaeda expected the United States to respond to 9/11 as we had the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut when, KSM told Mitchell, the United States turned tail and ran.
Then he looked at me and said, How was I supposed to know that cowboy George Bush would announce he wanted us dead or alive and then invade Afghanistan to hunt us down? Mitchell writes. KSM explained that if the United States had treated 9/11 like a law enforcement matter, he would have had time to launch a second wave of attacks. He was not able to do so because al-Qaeda was stunned by the ferocity and swiftness of George W. Bushs response.

The truth is finally coming out....
Hussein was never going to be the Strong Camel.
“George W. Bush’s Shock and Awe Response to 9/11 Prevented Other Attacks”
Except the biggest attack which occurred Nov 8 2008
The jury is still out whether we survived or not.
That would have been bad enough; what Obama actually did was treat the fight against Islamic terror like a criminal problem and the Tea Party movement like terrorism.
Hussein was the turn and run response.
Yes, that’s all well and good, but the wealthy, corrupt, Sunni-superiority Islamo-fascists who pull the strings of jihadi terror still rule in Saudi Arabia, apparently with the support of much of the US establishment.
Taking out Saddam, the proxy war in Syria and support of their invasion of Yemen are all to the advantage of the Saudi ruling family.
Because it was all part of a deal made with Bush and the Saudis. That's why you were supposed to know.
If you mean Nov 4, 2008 we are in agreement.
That’s why I call him osamabama because he’s hurt us far worse than Osama Bin Ladin ever did.
Imagine how many lives and money he would have saved if he just kept Muslims from coming into the country after 9-11.
Ty...I was wingin it ;)
...a date which will live in infamy...
Attack?
Heck, Bush set up the munitions and let Obama push the plunger on us. (figuratively)
All Obama had to do was walk right in.
Whether the Democrats ultimately planned the whole thing or not, Bush and the Republican Congress failed to take measures to prevent the melt down that gave us Obama.
That will forever be the legacy of Bush.
He actually performed so bad as president, that people actually began to doubt Capitalism, with seeming merit.
Good grief did we dodge a bullet. We are very lucky Obama hasn’t done more to hurt us.
KSM's admission is an outright condemnation of Bill Clinton and his feckless policies toward Al Qaeda which led directly to 9/11. It also exposes the weak Obama policies and why we have had many more terrorist attacks during his tenure.

That right there is proof that the only thing that stops Islamic terrorism is brute force against them.
Chicago homicide alone has exceeded the lives lost on 9/11 and the $10 trillion in new debt far exceeds any financial cost estimate I’ve seen for 9/11.
Say w/e you want about “W”, the mooseslime only respect force.

One of the best things I’ve read about George W. Bush.
