RUSSIA has massed 55,000 troops along their eastern border as they prepare to unleash a "frightening war" upon Europe.
--------
Military bosses claim Vladimir Putin has sent his mighty army to disputed frontiers along Eastern Europe.
Putins mass military deployment comes as Russian lawmakers threatened a looming frightening war unless their enemies back down over the annexation of Crimea.
Russia has been at loggerheads with NATO ever since it seized the peninsula on the Black Sea in 2014.
Shockingly earlier this year Russia withdrew from the International Criminal Court after the organisation branded its occupation illegal and said it was an act of war against Ukraine.

Yeah, I noticed that article was posted just before this one.
Seems like they are related.
There’s on 50 Obama shopping days left.....hold on to your hats.
55,000 troops is not a whole lot for an imminent invasion.
agreed
Russia’s “eastern border” is the Pacific Ocean.

Leftists trying to give Obama cover for declaring martial law?
Or maybe to start a shooting war?
Someone alert Sarah Palin :-)
55,000 is a “mighty army”? Gimme a break. How many of those are your standard Russian conscripts?
There will come a time when Islam will tip European Countries over.
Barring a request for American liberation which will never come considering they invited the invaders in, we are left with the question:
When European Countries devolve to ISIS States, do we let them exist or not?
Should we sail over and make them States of the US or let Putin grow his territory?
Let them annex all of Europe and let them deal with the muzzles. They seem to be the only nation willing to defend themselves, along with Poland and Hungary.
Hilarious headline.
Suggesting Russia would invade Europe with 55,000 men.
Everyone knows it would take 250,000 of the finest, best trained and equipped shock troops and absolute air dominance to make it to Berlin, much less the Atlantic.
And a couple of million to hold it.
LOL That’s right.
Just was thinking about this 4-5 years ago. It just seemed like a funny geography fact at the time.
Now I’m looking at the map of Eastern Europe again and was wondering your opinions since you all seem up to date or interested in Soviet geopolitics.
What if the move isn’t all towards the Crimean area but instead Putin uses the same excuse of “protecting Russian citizens” and decides to “protect” “Kallingrad Oblast”.
Take a peek at that little geographic anomaly. Lithuania, Latvia and Belarus (because of a main traffic thoroughfare through Belarus into Lithuania) might need to agree to “help” Putin protect the Russian citizens of Kallingrad Oblast with AA-missiles, tanks and troops in case NATO gets froggy.
Do the Baltic states get Article 5 NATO protection if Mr Putin decides to “protect” Kallingrad?
Hillary and the democrats pissing in Putin’s Cheerios didn’t help matters. This is where I think real problems are going to occur.
5 divisions could constitute a Corps or an Army.
BREAKING: European Union has surrendered.
