Ain’t flyover people great !?
Middle America is still our history.
Did they announce the cameras were there. Must be people showing off. If not...truly bizzare
Seems like a couple of cops need to pay more attention to their ‘concealment’ efforts...
People are awesome.
Shoot I had to drive out there for a gig once (consulting job).
Wasn’t a lot of money but we had just gotten Obama. Hooray. Yeah, it was off to a great start. Now I look back and those were the good old days. When I could make money like 1985 (yeah a joke but still....).
Gardner, Kansas is on my list of possible place to live.
I knew that kinda stuff went on at night, just knew it !!!
Pretty funny. The police reaction is priceless.
Yes, these people ARE funny - but when the night-cam footage of a mountain lion mauling a person or a local pet shows up, all bets are off! :)
I was hoping to see a few cougars.
The third photo’s “some sort of sharp object” is a recurve bow with a nocked arrow - and the bowstring improperly strung.
I suspect that police recognized it and are just playing dumb with the caption so whomever was in the photo can’t get in trouble for having a weapon in the area.
Hilarious
Saw that first photo, and it looked like a guy on top with his face down and hair to the right.
Going back, it’s obviously a skunk.
“For their part, Gardner police said in a Facebook post that they thought it was pretty damn funny.”
Well they sure didn’t find much funny when I was kid growing up in Gardner.
Gardner, KS, is just south of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Mountain lions have been reported in Lawrence, KS, about a 45 minute drive from Gardner. And after numerous reports in the Kansas City area of a mountain lion (each of which was refuted by the MO Dept of Conservation,) a young mountain lion was hit by a car and killed as it chased a deer across a highway.
