Charlotte, North Carolina (CNN)The officer who fatally shot Keith Lamont Scott won't face charges, a prosecutor said Wednesday, closing a two-month investigation into the killing that led to heated protests and divided the city of Charlotte.
Mecklenburg County District Attorney Andrew Murray said he didn't reach the decision alone; a total of 15 prosecutors unanimously agreed that Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Officer Brentley Vinson was justified in shooting Scott on September 20 in an apartment complex parking lot.

Thankfully, we have a line of very strong thunderstorms coming through. These have spawned tornadoes & hail in Mississippi and Alabama. It also looks like they are giving Gatlinburg, Western NC and North Georgia a much prayed for soaking rain.
Perhaps these will dampen the flaming anger of the BLM mobs.
BTW, I watched part of the DA’s press conference on local TV. Black Police Chief, Black Police Office fired the shots, the entire situation was recorded by multiple cameras & audio recorders. Ample evidence to exonerate the police.
If there are riots, the ‘community’ organizers & leaders who call for “action” meed to be charged with Inciting to Riot.

The man shot was a convicted felon with a firearm on his person, right? He didn’t drop the gun after ordered, right? Is that the case?
And the cop who shot him was black, right?
