Twitter Should Ban Trump For Life (Today's New Talking Point For MSM)
Daily Caller ^ | 11-29-2016 | David Benkov

Since, clearly, nobody in the incoming administration will play Daddy and take away the future president’s text addiction for the sake of the country, the rest of us have to. Twitter’s 317 million users need to demand that the service ban Trump for life.

#BootDonald, anyone?

Twitter has permanently suspended users in the past, most prominently rapper Azealia Banks and right-wing gadfly Milo Yiannopoulos – for tweets containing racially tinged, slur-filled, and other abuse. After all, Twitter is a private company. It can ban anyone at any time for any reason. It can boot people whose names begin with A, or Texans, or veterans. It can certainly ban the President of the United States when his use of their service flirts with national disaster.

— the other platform is immediately a major competitor to Twitter. That would rank up there as one of the worst business decisions ever.

Almost as bad as banning #PizzaGate and allowing #PedofileInformationExchange (or whatever they are called) accounts.

Twitter is not a well-run business model.

It think there’s a really good chance Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is putting his last shots in before the Trump-led DoJ “encourages” him to resign or Twitter gets bought out by another company.

As though Twitter were the only mechanism for Trump to broadcast his message, at will......

These are the same Fascists who insist that no private business has the right to determine who they serve.

(bakers, florists, photographers, Inn Keepers, etc.)

If he switches over to Gab, millions will switch with him.

Is Trump a paying customer? The big thing to Twitter or any business is that they will take about any money they can get.

I like it but, ‘Trumpster’ rhymes with dumpster.

Good point. Reminds me of James Dobson's story of how he tried to name his daughter something that no one could make a nasty joke on. He came up with Danaë, but her classmates soon figured out she could be called "decay."

Ban the President of the United States from some stupid social media site? And these snowflakes like to call conservatives “fascists”?

If twitter actually politically bans the elected President of the United States - we promise you that a competitive service will rise to the occasion to welcome him and millions of the rest of us. Twitter will suffer tremendously.

I would propose such a new service be called "Trumpet" for obvious reasons.

Go ahead and ban him; Trump will start his own Twitter and put this guy out of business overnight.

So burning the US flag is protected by free speech.
But criticizing flag burners is not?

Something ironic about a newspaper calling for a ban on free press.

The Left has a mental disorder. It is a totalitarian mindset. Try playing a round of checkers with them. If they lose, they knock the game on the floor and call you every name in the book. They are spoilsports and want their way all the time. It is the result of the education system that pushed the self esteem movement down their throats.

It can ban anyone at any time for any reason.???

So it is Perfectly OK for a “Public Accommodation” Company to REFUSE TO DO BUSINESS with anyone they choose, simply because they disagree with their lifestyle choices and personal beliefs???

Just wait til first HUMAN RIGHTS lawsuit is filed.

He needs to switch to GAB.ai

If Twitter did that, and Trump took to another platform — and took his 16 million followers with him — the other platform is immediately a major competitor to Twitter. That would rank up there as one of the worst business decisions ever.

Agreed!!

Freedom of speech for me, which includes violence, flag desecration and property damage, but not for thee.
Trump should talk to Jim Thompson—a wise man with the strength of two or even three normal guys—about opening his own news web site. They won’t be able to censor the internet for at least four more years.
