House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Wednesday fended off a challenge to her long leadership reign, defeating Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) in a closed-door vote prompted largely by Donald Trumps unlikely ascension to the White House.
Pelosi got 134 votes to Ryan's 63 winning 68 percent of the votes after declaring before the election that she had the support of two-thirds of the caucus. The victory sends a message that while there's a growing appetite for major changes in the party's leadership structure and messaging tactics, it's not strong enough to loosen Pelosi's grip on a liberal-heavy group that's rarely challenged her authority

Good. Very good, Democrats. That’s how you’ll win against Trump. Keep this up. Don’t change a thing.
Someone else has one about the 59 second mark. LOL! Must be a popular story.
She and the other leaders of the Democrat party have managed their party to second tier status nationally and at the state levels.
In reaction party regulars plan for more of the same.
Stuck on stupid doesn’t begin to cover this level of ignorance.
Actually, this is good news for the USA and Team Trump!
Having defeated a venomous Harridan for POTUS, we will now witness the Democratic unraveling — another venomous Harridan will be Minority Leader for the next two years.
After all, while Ms. Pelosi has been Speaker and Minority Leader, the Democrats have lost many local, state and national elections; Democrat politicians are in the minority in the USA - and that is a GOOD THING!
All they have to do to ensure that the Democrat Party self-destructs is make Keith Ellison head of the DNC.
Keep it up, Democrats!
Gonna double down on stupid - I like it.
Hahahaha, great news!
Yup—good news. Two more years for Queen Nancy to alienate more voters.
