The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for Monday's attack at Ohio State University that injured nine.
The terror group's Amaq News Agency on Tuesday claimed the attack, carried out by an 18-year-old Ohio State student, was perpetrated by a "soldier of the Islamic State."
Authorities have not commented on what motivated the attack but could not rule out the possibility of terrorism.
Abdul Razak Ali Artan hit a crowd of pedestrians with a car before stabbing several people with a butcher knife Monday morning on Ohio State's campus.
Artan was killed by an officer at the scene.
Nine people were injured but are expected to make full recoveries.

Maybe the officials are ISIS sympathizers. What other conclusion can I come to?
Motive remains unknown.
The motive is unclear.
This is like the UC Merced attack.
Muslim kid stabbed a bunch of class mates.
They tried to say it was just some personal grudge.
Those darn Amish!
Unfortunately too many government officials are scared of making the obvious conclusion for fear of losing their jobs.

The Today Show wondered aloud if this was terrorism...Matt Lauer, genius that he is, said, “This certainly seems to check off a lot of boxes.”
And of course here will come those people who will call anyone Islamophobic if they dare criticize CAIR or ISIS or ....

The Islamic subjugation of all other ethnic cultures and groups everywhere is inevitable, in their eyes. They simply do not see the very real countervailing force that exists in the souls of the rest of humanity, when it comes to being forcibly converted to an incompatible view of the human condition.
Like all other forms of totalitarian authoritarian rule, the hierarchy is always uneasy, because they never know what smoldering anger lies buried ready to burst out at unexpected places and with totally unpredictable effects.

The U. C. Merced knife attack occurred 11/5/15. Hmmm....Muslim terrorists have a propensity to attack on anniversaries of other attacks.
Just because they are Muslim killers and attackers, that doesn't mean they are Muslim terrorists!
