New York City and other coastal cities will reportedly be under water within a century inundated by flooding from a fast-melting polar ice sheet.
It is not a question of if, but when a flood of biblical proportion will make cities hugging coastlines around the world uninhabitable, Ohio State associate professor Ian Howat told The Sun.

Coastal flooding, followed by earth quakes, massive tornadoes, volcanoes popping up all around the continent, mankind is doomed! 100 billion people will have nowhere to run in 100 years. s/
I believe this “associate” professor is influenced by his own life so as to distort his findings. His wetting the bed every night is causing him to feel that the ocean is rising. What a LIB asshat and fool. Someone beat some sense into this degenerate with his crappy dissertation...reads by no one but his mother.
Flooding the coastal cities is 100% total BS.
It’s propaganda from the liberals.
This kinda brings back another great Democrat prediction from the early 70’s, “the worlds oil supply will dry up in 10 years”.
Hmmm. Let me think. San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Baltimore, Chicago.
What is wrong with that?
Since we are getting ready to enter a mini ice age what do these bozos do with that?
Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of "eco-refugees," threatening political chaos, said Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program. He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect - Associated Press June 30, 1989
I’ll be long dead so I’ll stay in NYC till i drop :)
In the meantime, we get a little rain and snow while others get tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc. :)
‘New York will probably be like Florida 15 years from now,’ - St. Louis Post-Dispatch Sept. 17, 1989
A bleak future indeed, but an inevitable one unless we change the way we live.....At present rates of exploitation there may be no rainforest left in 10 years. If measures are not taken immediately, the greenhouse effect may be unstoppable in 12 to 15 years. - 5000 Days to Save the Planet - Edward Goldsmith 1991
Oh bullshit.
Time to stop mincing words with these idiots.
They have no proof or science to back them: only assertions based on models filled with corrupt data.
NONE of it is TRVTH.
And its time we tell them so, however crudely.
Easy to predict stuff to happen after one is dead.
Well, I made sure it was small “b”. Kinda like small-r “republican” versus the left-wing GOP.
Well maybe IF there was any polar ice melting; but since that is NOT happening - we just saw a diary from 100 years ago proving ice is thicker than it was in 1916, there is nothing to worry about.
Question: How is it these experts can’t tell us what the weather will be a month from now but they are SURE of what it will be 100 years from now?
It is settled science that ice displaces more water than the water that makes up the ice. So when all the ice in the water melts, what happens?
Sea levels drop!
Aw gee! Do I have to wait until then to laugh at them? I wonder if they will be just a crazy as they are today when Al Gore’s horrific prediction failed . . . it seemed like they just dug in deeper.
Nah! I’m gonna do it now!
BWA HA HA HA!!!!
This suggests that our coastal cities will probably be about where they are now in 100 years - unless there is a LOT of seismic activity over the next century.
