Dems INSTANTLY Turned The OSU Knife Attack Into A Gun Control Debate

It didn’t take long for the Monday knife attack at Ohio State University to turn into a gun control rallying cry.

First reports and reports throughout the duration of the attack described it as a shooting. Authorities later clarified it was a knife attack. Minutes after news broke that there was an alleged active shooter, Twitter users called for stronger gun control and blamed the attack on lackluster laws.

The school is a “gun free zone,” and instructed students to “run hide fight” and stay in place.

At least eight people have been taken to the hospital, with one critical and another seven stable, according to the fire department. There are also reports at least one person was attacked with a machete.

Latest reports seem to indicate that the only “shooter” involved was the cop who capped the attacker. The attacker apparently was chasing people around with a large knife, and the 8 victims all have non-life-threatening injuries.

But this is proof that gun free zones work. The Somali was clearly obeying the laws put in place, and it would’ve become more deadly if there were not signs posted declaring It to be a gun free zone.

Rep. Joyce Beatty, D-Jefferson Township, who had spoken to OSU president Michael Drake, reported that a car drove into a crowd and most of those affected appeared to have stab wounds. "The university appear to be secure now, the students appear to be safe," said. "What we don't know is what was the motive," she said.

Since the perp was a Somalia refugee, of course no one knows the motive.

The MSM Soooo wanted this to be a gun incident committed by a "deplorable."
