I believe that the two most difficult jobs in the world are being a good spouse and a good parent. The reason: after our relationship with our Creator, the most important relationship in the universe is that of a husband and his wife. As Ive often pointed out, the biblical family model is at the foundation of every institution in the history of humanity.
This is what makes the infamous Obergefell ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court in late June of 2015 so egregious. It strikes at the heart of America. As my new book, The Miracle and Magnificence of America details, try as they might, the British were unable to establish successful settlements in America until faith-filled families decided to venture across the Atlantic and lay down permanent roots in the New World.
Those who want to destroy the greatest nation in the history of humanity know well that for America to be undone, the family model that has prevailed worldwide for millennia must be eradicated. In short, if the family dies, then America as we have long known her, dies. After the God-haters are done, there may still be a nation called The United States of America, but it will look nothing like America as she was founded. And such an outcome is just fine for those who despise the Christian foundations upon which America rests.

Most “married” gays still retain their Grindr accounts.
Their “marriages” are in name only. They are just as big health threats.
Homos don’t need marriage as an excuse to remain “monogamous.”
Their whole argument is order from chaos. What starts as chaos cannot, by the laws of entropy, become order by human means.
In addition to the sham marriage, Elton John has had a years-long estrangement from his mother over his relationship with Furnish. John is a sad soul.
I agree, but only insofar as it does not adversely affect another human being of any age...
Besides, it's not nice to fool Mother Nature.
All marriage has ever been to the state in the modern era is whatever judges, pols or the voting majority happen to think it is at any one time. First civil divorce and remarriage, then really easy civil divorce and remarriage, now ‘gay marriage’ and who knows what in another fifty years. Pope Leo XIII warned about the state defining and regulating marriage 130+ years ago. Now many are conditioned to think the state defines and creates marriage, and guess what? They accept the definition changing because civil law changes. The state doesn’t have any other way to define it in the modern era.

Introducing religion into the discussion is no help whatsoever!
If we can't discuss the topic, in the secular realm, with the guidance of millenia of civilization, we can't be much of an intelligent species.
Well it does turn out that humanity without God is pretty damned (literally) dumb.
And if you LOOKED at that millennia of civilization, the atheist approach would be seen as the rare exception, until today when Americans and Europeans have been spoiled by the civilizing, load-bearing work that was done before them by, yup, Christianity.
Look for an atheist anywhere in the third world. You might die before finding one. His or her beliefs might seem weird, but not atheist.
All of you are missing the point of “gay marriage.”
It’s not about anything beyond the ability to punish those who will not bow the knee to their proclivities.
The same way they turned action, "Flag Burning" into speech.
Political protest (action) has been legal and part of the definition of the first amendment forever. Examples: Marching, carrying signs, wearing clothing with fags or sayings, squatting outside government buildings, including the WH. All actions.

Maybe you could just look to Hollywood, they have plenty of kids willing to tell their stories.
I can’t see any change in the new status quo for marriage. The idea that they’d change the policy after many same sex couples have been married isn’t credible to me. I can’t see the government telling people that got “married” that they now aren’t married. I just don’t see it - it’s going to be here for a while.
I’m against it, but I don’t see it changing.
“Maybe you could just look to Hollywood, they have plenty of kids willing to tell their stories.”
I’m not looking anywhere. I’m not the one pushing this “pizzagate” conspiracy theory. The burden is on the ones claiming something is there to produce the evidence.
Yep. I compare flag burning to yelling fire in a crowded theater.
It was never about gays getting married, it was about legitimizing Sodomy.
I encourage young people of Christian values or conservative Jews to have lots of children, and its up to the rest of us out of our child bearing years to support in every way possible these young families...
That would certainly be a blessing.
