The Green Party is crowdfunding $2.5 million to challenge the 2016 election results in three states. Video provided by Newsy Newslook

They do not care
If they steal this one, it will be the last election, anyway
is Wisconsin a pub state as far as the state houses?...
AFAIK, the recount is all about going after the votes not counted, if it would arguably appear that the uncounted votes could make a difference in the overall amount. With as many as 70,000 in the margin for Trump in Pennsylvania, it would likely take all the absentee or uncounted votes to be for Hillary to change who won that state. That’s just my state of Pennsylvania, I can’t say much for the others, but they don’t seem to have as close of a margin as what we had with Bush and Gore in Florida in 2,000.
Yep. They all are!
It seems to me as if Stein has no standing to request this recount, since she has NO chance of winning as a result of it.
I'd like to see President-elect Trump's legal team push back hard on this in every practical way possible.
BTW, the 0bama admin is pushing back on this as well, against Hillary, because they know that 1) the whole circus will do even more damage to the Democrat party, and also 2) the Clintons will be pushed aside even further in influence, allowing outgoing President 0bama to consolidate complete control of the party apparatus moving forward.
Either way, the Democrat party is going to be relegated to minority status for decades to come.
President Trump (if he follows his heart and stays true to the Revolution which this movement has accomplished) is going to build the coveted "big tent" governing GOP coalition that will establish a permanent demographic realignment within this nation, to the severe detriment of the Democrat party.
As long as the rank and file GOP leadership follow suit and help "drain the swamp" in Washington DC (with the incorrigibles being purged), the Democrat party is going to be crushed under the weight of its failed and divisive identity politics, not to mention its corrosive, un-American hybridization of corporate cronyism and nanny-state Marxist/collectivist authoritarianism.
These sleazy Establishment and Media (but I repeat myself) elites are going to be screaming "bloody murder" the entire time, but their power and influence will steadily wane until they either join the Revolution or fade into historical ignominy.
After seeing this election cycle, I have no doubt but that there is a God who rules the fate of this greatest and most exceptional of nations.
Long live the Republic! Long live President Donald J. Trump! And may God bless and guide them both...
“If they can do that in WI, MI, and PA, Trump will have less than the required 270”
You need to quit singing this song! The 12th amendment talks about the majority duly appointed electors. If these states fail to appoint their electors because the recounts are not done by the December cutoff date, they are left out of the total. 270 is only the correct number for a majority if ALL states submit their votes (538) to the Congress. If the number that ended up being submitted to Congress on 12/19 was say 500, then Trump would only need 251 to win.

Michigan counted the absentee ballots. Where does that uncounted absentee stuff come from?
I just looked up the Michigan procedure. It isn't exactly the same as in PA, but other candidates are allowed to contest even conducting a recount. Other candidates have 7 days to file objections in writing and then the Board of State Canvassers must rule on the objections within 5 days. If they overturn the objections, the recount can not start for two more days.
Even if the Board is very fast and immediately rules on the objections (Trump will object), there is a minimum time of 9 days before any recounting can be started. If a Petition is filed on Monday, that is Nov 28, and the easiest a recount could start would be Dec 7 or 8. If the Board takes any time at all to overturn the objections it will be later.
I just don't see how this can be finished by Dec 13.

A fraud trifecta. No real chance of winning.
>> Dont know how they will complete the recount in time
No doubt an intended obstacle.

I completely agree. And for many reasons.
A recount has no chance of changing the outcome. Jill probably doesn't even have standing to request the recount because there is absolutely no chance of her winning. Jill is acting as a proxy for Hillary. A recount would be lending the state's resources to partisan political efforts under Jill's reasoning. Probably also a raft of other reasons for denial.
That’s a lot of votes regardless of the percentile difference.
It would seem that the existing count before the recount would stand.
Thanks for clarifying.
Hope you and your family had wonderful Thanksgiving.
>> Michigan would not do this for Stein.
The entire recount effort reeks of false representation.
“She doesn’t have to win now, she just has to pull Trump under 270.”
Trump will still be at 268-232, a majority of the votes cast. He still wins.
