CNN host Brooke Baldwin teared up live on TV on Tuesday after a political commentator used a racial slur on her show.
The news anchor was visibly shaken after Charles Kaiser, a left-wing author, was discussing recently-appointed Donald Trump adviser Stephen Bannon, who he accused of having previously used the N-word.
'If you don't want to support the alt-right, don't choose as a White House counselor a man who uses the word n****r,' Kaiser said.
A shocked Baldwin initially raised her eyebrows and let Kaiser continue.
Kaiser is a regular on the show and often speaks out against Trump. On Tuesday he was facing Paris Dennard, an African-American Trump supporter.
However Badlwin soon cut Kaiser off to reprimand him for using such a word, even though it was just as a recount. 'Charles, just, hang on a second,' Baldwin said. 'I appreciate you going through all of this, but please don't use the N-word on my show.'
Kaiser was immediately apologetic.
'I'm sorry,' Kaiser said. 'I never use the n-word, except when I'm quoting someone who's been appointed by the president to serve in the Oval Office since this is such a disgusting moment in our history.'

I thought it was my hopes and dream from the 20s to the late 40s :)
The Radical left’s grasping at nothings ...turns out the wispy little nothings are anchors to their cause.
Beautiful. Bring it on, stupids.
A family member on the Trump side wants to send out Christmas cards with his family decked on out red MAGA hats while holding AR-15s. LOL
They've really had their way with things for far too long. Thank God that Trump came along and seized the opportunity to make America great again.
Yep.
He’s a racist!
Agreed. Praise the Lord (Trump won) and pass the ammunition.
I can’t believe that fruitcake is a CNN political contributor. How low can CNN go? Fact is he’s a de facto employee of CNN.
Looken sharp CNN~
Someone ask CNN what happened to their intentional short delay on their transmissions?
Waiting for Obama to denounce people killing white cops, assaulting white elderly people, blocking people from getting to work on time, blocking emergency vehicles.
Waiting. Waiting.
I watched about as much of the video as I could stand. He was, supposedly, quoting someone else using the word. I suppose that is O.K., though he was addressing a black conservative along with the CNN hostess. Perhaps he meant to provoke the conservative.
My objection is that the lib spoke first and ran off one hateful, untrue charge after another. The conservative, playing by the rules, kept his mouth shut. Then the conservative was invited to speak. He started and was interrupted so much that the two men were basically talking at the same time. O.K. the liberal (like many before him) is a jerk. He is also a hypocrite due to his self-serving double standards.
The biggest problem though is CNN. They made no effort to police the debate and make it fair. They had the liberal speak first so this could happen. They could have turned off the mic of the person who does not have the floor.
CNN tries to fake some objectivity here. It looks like an objective moderator, a conservative, and a liberal. Superficially, it looks fair, but it is not. The topic is a liberal topic. The ground rules favor the liberal Democrat: the liberal speaks uninterrupted; the conservative has to argue on “his” time. This was not CNN’s first debate. They knew what they were doing. This was as much a set-up as providing team Hillary questions in advance.
But the left has no problem with "hick", "redneck", and "hillbilly", which mean the same thing except the targets are white.
You just know at some level he wanted to punish Paris for being a black man supporting Trump. And that word is such a reliable cut.
