A handful of network executives and anchors who were among those invited to attend Donald Trump's media summit on Monday are lashing out at the president-elect and his behavior during the off-the-record discussion.

Four of those present spoke with the New Yorker about what happened behind closed doors in Trump Tower, saying that the first 20 minutes of the hour-long meeting involved Trump attacking many of those present and their network coverage of him during the race.

'I have to tell you, I am emotionally f***ing pissed,' said one of those present at the meeting.

Trump needs to consider bypassing the anti-constitutional republic MSM and have televised and YouTube “state-of-the-union” addresses on a monthly or biweekly basis.

True, but the difference is that up to the 1950s most major (and many smaller) cities had two or more newspapers.

Here in San Francisco, we had more than half a dozen large newspapers competing against each other. They began swallowing up each other in the late 1950s into the 1960s. Several became the "News-Call-Bulletin" during mergers, each used to be independent. By the 1970s SF only had three major papers left. By the 1990s only the Chronicle (Hearst empire paper) had any teeth left in it, with the others collapsing. I used to hawk several different papers from downtown corners in the 1960s, cars would pull over and the occupants would give me a good tip for handing over a paper through the window. Nowadays, you don't see newspapers being hawked to cars. Of course, I read most of the papers and even as a kid I noticed the bias and conflicting spin on news.

Awesome! To work out their anger and “get even” with President Trump,the enemedia will have to add an extra hour to each day so they can attack him 25x7 instead of just 24x7.

Apparently the enemedia still doesn’t get it; namely, they shot their wad and Trump won anyway, and now they are completely irrelevant because President Trump won without them and also can now govern without them, and it matters not what he says or does as they will never say a single kind word about him ever again.

President Trump knows they hate him and will always hate him, so he is under no obligation to play by their rules, but is now free to make up his own rules and simply ignore the enemedia. Technology is such that President Trump can now speak directly to we-the-people without the intervening enemedia reality-distortion filters.

President Trump won and the enemedia lost. Sooner or late (probably sooner), they’re gonna figure that out and they’re also gonna figure out that they made a BIG mistake with their massively biased “reporting”. Big mistake. Big.

Trump should restrict his news conferences to the designated Alt Right media, from Levin to Alex Jones to the Breitbart guys, even Milo, Townhall, NR, etc. The NYT should have to get its news from Breitbart’s site.
