The accused pedophile behind the ‘bathroom bills’

Accused pedophile, “mega-Obama-bundler” and long-time prominent fixture of the radical left, Terry Bean, is responsible for the bathroom bills sweeping America. If not for Bean’s “affluenza,” it is quite likely that the 68-year-old would be in prison today for allegedly having sex with a 15-year-old boy in an Oregon hotel room in 2013 with his then-lover Kiah Lawson, who was 25 at the time. As reported at Oregonlive, Bean “had offered the boy at least $200,000 to settle the case.”

Terry Bean is the co-founder of several radical groups posing as civil rights organizations. One of these organizations, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), created the template for the bathroom bill ordinances sweeping the nation.



While Pastors in Houston famously brought much-needed publicity to the ordinance after Houston Mayor Annise Parker subpoenaed them for copies of their sermons back in 2014, an abundance of similar laws have quietly passed in towns all over America.

One of the towns that fought back was Fayetteville, Arkansas after the bathroom bill passed the Fayetteville City Council in August 2014. Engaged citizens “gathered the required number of signatures to place the issue to a public vote in a special election…” and they successfully repealed the ordinance. It should be noted that HRC contributed more than $15,000 to keep the ordinance on the books.



Arkansas is not out of the woods, however. HRC’s Project One America is described as “…a comprehensive, multi-year campaign to dramatically expand LGBT equality in the South through permanent campaigns in Mississippi, Alabama and Arkansas.”

Conservatives complain that President Obama gets a free pass from the media, which acts as a de-facto public-relations shop for the Democrat in the White House. Never has that charge seemed truer than now as an ugly rape scandal unfolds on the West Coast.

On Wednesday, Portland, Ore. police arrested Terrence Patrick Bean, who has been charged with two felony counts of having sex with a minor last year. This man is not just any old guy accused of having sex with a 15-year-old – he's a big-money Democratic donor and liberal political activist with connections inside the Obama White House. Bean raised more than a half-million dollars for Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.

"Bean has been one of the state's biggest Democratic donors and an influential figure in gay rights circles in the state," reports oregonlive.com. "He helped found two major national political groups, the Human Rights Campaign and the Gay and Lesbian Victory Fund and has been a major contributor for several Democratic presidential candidates, including Barack Obama."

A search of the Federal Election Commission's campaign-finance database turns up thousands in donations every cycle by Bean to the Democratic Party's most powerful leaders, including Hillary Clinton, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Sen. Dick Durbin, and Rep. Barney Frank, among others. Photos of Bean posted online show him flying on Air Force One with Obama.

The scandal is escalating. Thursday, according to local media, Kiah Loy Lawson, allegedly 66-year-old Bean's 25-year-old former boyfriend, was arrested by the Portland Sex Crimes Unit for sexually abusing the same boy. After the relationship between the two men ended, Lawson went public with claims that Bean had a practice of secretly videotaping himself having sex with others.

​This story was first reported by the local press, and there have been vague references to sexual trouble for Bean and Lawson since June, but the national media has not picked it up. That oversight is politically convenient for President Obama as he tries to pull off one of his riskiest political moves ever with his amnesty executive order.

If one of President George W. Bush's bundlers would have been charged with child rape, make no mistake about it, the media feeding frenzy would have been uncontrollable – which would be legitimate given the severity of the allegation. The silence surrounding Terrence Bean exposes the national media's partisan double standard in obscene detail.

I guess the folks who corrected you haven't picked up on the idea that more than one singer can sing the same song! LOL I guess that you expect that on forums, based on your screen name.

My mother had few luxuries. She talked dad into a "HiFi"; i.e., high fidelity record player, which was in a large cabinet which stood on legs. One of her favorite artists was Perry Como and she had several of his records. Thus, I, too remember Perry Como singing that song.

It was sad at the end of his career when he performed Christmas concerts in Ireland and clearly had trouble remembering the lyrics. They played several of the concerts on PBS.

It’s funny that you remember Perry doing that song, as did I. The internet has multiple citations that he was one of the few of the Italian singers that didn’t. As I was young at the time, I was willing to question my recollection.
