The New York Times in a tizzy over Melania Trump's fashion choices. Seriously?

The New York Times is in trouble, and they know it. The paper has lost all credibility, and even long-time readers comfortable with its editorial bias have been sickened by the all-out trashing of Donald Trump over the past several months.

When the publisher of the world’s most arrogant and all-knowing newspaper puts out a mea culpa promising to “rededicate ourselves to the fundamental mission of Times journalism” you can be pretty sure that something is awry. To pledge to “report America and the world honestly, without fear or favor” suggests they have been doing otherwise, and that is a fact.

That said, nothing seems to have changed at the Times. The reporting still is admiring of all-things Obama and derisive of all things Trump, to a laughable degree.

A case in point: an article in the Sunday Styles section l

To the Times and Mooshelle’s designer who won’t “dress” Melania (and wasn’t asked, thank goodness), I say: Await the shock and awe.
There is plenty of media and paparazzi that will obsess over what Melania wears, and every outfit that is available off the rack will sell out.
I predict they will not be able to resist covering literally a MODEL First Lady.

Something interesting seems to be happening. The people don’t trust the media any more. The media keeps nitpicking to the point of making thing up. Eventually no one will pay attention to what the media says so if Trump ever did anything wrong, now one would trust the media about it and no one would listen. Sort of the Boy who cried wolf scenario. I encourage the media to keep it up. Soon they will be completely irrelevant.

Everyone get ready. The lying media wants to pay back Trump to totally exposing their bias and collusive corruption for the past 17 months.

Just like this election, the media will attempt to discredit, slander, malign and undermine everything the Trump Administration does and says. This is going to change, and eventually, they’ll be held to more stringent liability laws, but this will take time.

I have known real women who dress hideously, look at themselves in the mirror and say “This is fine”.

She must be one of those.

Apparently so.

I might suspect she knew no better and when “fancy designers” got hold of her, she went along with them, thinking they knew what they were talking about, and too embarrassed to admit she didn’t like it....sort of like fans of “modern art”.

:)

Melania Trump could go into K-Mart, buy a cotton dress off the rack, and while wearing it, would exude more grace and style that most other women could at a high society gala opening.

Melania Trump makes the clothes look so much better than they may be on most anybody else. There is an innate fashion sense that cannot be instilled even with all the indoctrination and training in haute culture that is available only in the most exclusive venues.

And she has good taste in clothes, too.

Coco Chanel and Audrey Hepburn never looked like hookers who had blacked out in a flower bed.
