Agree to the settlement with the stipulation that you're not acknowledging any wrongdoing.

That’s a lot of money, and I know Trump doesn’t like settling if he believes the charges are false. However, this is a good thing. The last thing Trump needs is the media circus that would happen if he had to testify. The media would be gleeful. Trump doesn’t need to waste political capital because of this and to waste valuable time he can be using to work on his transition and all the things he wants to get accomplished.

I think all students should sue their alma maters if they can’t get a job.

Funny how we never heard about Whitewater during the election.

I hope it's true because I was NOT happy with the manner the news about the upcoming "trial" was being reported here in San Diego.

Very prejudicial against President-Elect Trump.

Yeah, Jack Kennedy settled a suit after getting elected. A suit is too debilitating for a President.

Get used to this folks. I believe the democrats have a lot of cash from the Obama and GOP days.

THEY WILL BLEED CONSERVATIVES DRY IN LITIGATION.

I can relax now. I know I shouldn't listen to Facebook amateurs but a liberal friend had posted that Trump won't make it to the White House because he will be in jail for fraud over Trump University. Not!!!

To his credit, the judge in this made it clear that he really didn’t want it to go to trial, and he put a lot of pressure on the parties to settle it out of court.

That’s $25,000,000 too much because it empowers the scumbags on the other end.

But that is Trump’s way sometimes. Pay them now or pay for litigation.

Note that the scumbag attorneys bringing suit have stated that they represent a class of more than 30,000. In reality, it is only a handful because most people get a postcard size notification in the mail announcing a class action and they toss it in the trash which means they are entered in the class because they must send a letter opting out. Most people are entered by default.

But still more than 30,000 will receive a settlement check. After lawyers and NY AG fines (if included), the class of 30,000+ might receive about $150 each at most because attorneys will claim about 30% of the settlement and the AG’s office may tack on millions in fines.
