Fashion designer Sophie Theallet is urging her colleagues in couture to follow her example by refusing to dress the future first lady Melania Trump.
As one who celebrates and strives for diversity, individual freedom and respect for all lifestyles, I will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next First Lady, Theallet wrote, reports Elle. The rhetoric of racism, sexism, and xenophobia unleashed by her husbands presidential campaign are incompatible with the shared values we live by. I encourage my fellow designers to do the same.

:p to them.
Feel the love!
Bask in the tolerance!
Who cares? She’d look better in a dress off the rack of a department store than Moochelle would in the finest of fineries.
Pretend they are a Bakery and sue them out of business. I just love the Tolerant left.
That’s OK. Ivanka has a clothing line, doesn’t she?
I think that Melania will be able to do just fine without them. This is an opportunity for a young, hungry designer to make a name for themselves.
Well, I can’t blame them. It would certainly be more challenging than designing tent suits for Hillary.
I guess the mega-irony is just whizzing by her empty head.................
So she’ll have to go naked?
Hmmmmmm.
This might be one boycott by the left that I can support...
Hey Sophie. Melania Trump will look good in anything she wears. Unlike Moochelle and Hillary, she doesn’t need a team of dressers and makeup artists and hair stylists to make her look presentable. Hopefully your tantrum will help make people realize that they don’t need dopes like you to tell them what to wear.
She just does not like Melania because she’s a woman, and an immigrant. We should shun such bigots and ignore their hate speech.
They’re as dumb as the LefTards in Hollywood. Alienate half of your paying customers, why don’t ya?
Idjits.
I’m pretty sure that Melania, being a fashion model and not having gained an ounce in 20 years, has quite the full clothes closets, already.
She should show up somewhere in a barrel, just to make the point that ‘designers’ won’t dress her, LOL!
Please, yes, please. All of you (fashion industry companies). Stand your ground. Don’t dress Melania.
A rollover of the fashion industry would be a good thing.
Who? Never heard of her.
Go ahead liberal, cut your self off at the ankles.
Bwhahahahah.
This is dumber than dumb.
I assume designers are beating down her door, trying to dress her for the inauguration and inauguration balls...I know I would be, if I were a fashion designer.
The level of hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness in this one statement is a wonder to behold.
