Professor Stephen Hawking says humans have less than 1,000 years on Earth before we are wiped out by extinction.
The celebrated physicist said humans will only survive if another planet was found to live on.
The 74-year-old said unless this happens then humans will be wiped out in a mass extinction.

Professor Stephen Hawking and his atheistic prognostications will be extinct long before that.
I think the Lord will have the last Word on the expiration date for all of Creation.
But now we can add two more families to the list with the Clintons and the Obamas.

Agreed. But in a thousand years considering it only took us 2000 years, with no equipment to assist, to screw up this planet, maybe he better alter his theory to needing two planets. With our automation, by the time 1000 years has elapsed, we could have screwed up the first alternate and could need a back up planet to stay ahead of the power curve.
He under-estimate us.
