For the second time in a week, president-elect Donald Trump has abandoned precedent and traveled without the "press pool," a small group of journalists assigned to cover his movements. The move Tuesday night has spurred a strong backlash.

The press wants desperately to get the one in a million photo of Trump with food on his face before the polite napkin wipe.
Even the President “I do not like” has a right to time alone or with family and friends without the press herding around. Off the clock time should for a President should be expected and respected.

I’ve eaten at “21” when I worked in Midtown, in the 80s. If I was the mgr, I wouldn’t let in the press, for any reason. They all want free meals and to disrupt other diners.
One can’t help but suspect that President Elect Trump is going to want members of that press pool to not be people who are hostile to his presidency. I’d like it if he had has own private historian along whenever the press is present, to record the truth.
Where in the Constitution do we find the section saying NBC/CNN/ABC/CBS/ get access to the President 24/7 ??
He might set up an inner circle of favored press and give them access on secret family getaways, such as this one.
