It has been reported that 22 veterans take their own lives, every day.
Curtis Gearhart, a 32-year-old veteran who served two tours in Iraq, after having been told he would have to wait weeks and weeks for treatment by the VA, tragically decided to take his own life on Monday, November 7.
Two months ago, Gearhart went to the VA because of recurring headaches. Apparently he previously had a tumor and was worried about it; the VA told him it would be five to six weeks.
FIVE TO SIX WEEKS.
Sad. RIP.
Everybody wants him to address everything in 48 hours or less.
Folks, he’s going to do the best he humanly can.
He didn’t make this mess. It may take a short period of time.
He is committed to it, and he is the first president that has been.
He will do it.
Over 7000 a year? Hard to believe.

Anyone who is suicidal and a veteran needs this number handy. Every VA facility has this number in the introductory phone message.
And Obama and Clinton celebrate.
It said he was concerned about a tumor.
In Corpus the yellow team has been without a doctor for over a year. We have 4 doctors now. We are suppose to have 12. You have to sign in to will call list to be seen that day.
No radiology. No ortho at ALL. Pharmacy runs the VA now. They have pharmacists overseeing every doctors orders.
Doctors in town dont want to take vouchers. Takes to long to get their money then only 75% or so. Tri West is getting better but they throw so many tools in the gearbox it grinds to a halt.
Took two years to get seen in behavioral health. Lot of employees care but they wont rage against the machine. Still beats Medicare but quotos need to be filled and got to get them bonuses! Myheathevet.gov works good.
NO IMMIGRATE HAS A RIGHT TO MEDICAL CARE BEFORE THE VET!
