Hes fired or at least his name is.
Three Upper West Side buildings that bear Trumps name will soon be scrubbed of any trace of the president-elect, according to Equity Residential.
The company said that rental buildings at 140, 160 and 180 Riverside Blvd. will no longer be called Trump Place. Instead, theyll be referred to by their street addresses.
We are removing the [Trump] name on those buildings, said Equity Residential spokesman Marty McKenna. The decision was to brand the buildings with a more neutral building identity that will appeal to all current and future residents.
The changes are already in motion, and everything that has the Trump name on it will be removed from the buildings.

I assume that these are buildings he sold.
The left is made up of bullies.
At one point they wanted his name there.
Now that he’s president they don’t.
So what!
As if this means anything at all.
I wish them good luck in their business endeavors.
I think this could have turned into a positive for them, but it’s their call.
Why would Mr. Toyota care if you pry the Toyota nameplate off the your car? You bought it. It's yours.
As for people stopping using the "Trump Place" address for cab drivers -- Donald Trump will probably be long gone before that happens.

Trump may have wanted his name removed being POTUS and having no control over something he does NOT OWN could be a problem foe him down the line!!!
Heck, I don’t even put my own name on my own mailbox.
You never know.
Pinkbell said,”He doesn’t own the building anyway.”
As of five minutes ago Trump still lists it the Trump Teal Estate Portfolio
http://www.trump.com/real-estate-portfolio/new-york/trump-place/
from that site:
“.... The four Trump Place condominium buildings (200, 220 & 240 Riverside Boulevard) front the Hudson River along the Northern most boundary adjoining Riverside Park.
Trump Place was one of New York Citys first projects to offer a unique mix of richly diverse luxury amenities such as English billiard rooms, European spas, tranquil libraries & reading rooms, screening rooms, and sky terraces offering spectacular views.
With the 25-acre Riverside Park South offering waterfront bike paths, picnic and sporting areas, and an enormous public recreation pier, Trump Place completes the all inclusive lifestyle like no other neighborhood in New York.
This is the crown jewel of the Upper West Side.”

Knowing from “The Art of The Deal” how long it took for Trump to develop that site I have strong doubts that he has any inclination to relinquish title to that crown jewel.
He has a strong case that eliminating his branded title will cause huge financial harm to him and his investors.
I suspect as well that a goodly portion of current residents will not react kindly to a drop in their equity resulting from losing the cachet of the Trump brand.
That may end up being to their own detriment.
So let it be written! So let it be done!
Well, you both beat me to the punch ...
