Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) — a.k.a. “Lyin’ Ted” — was spotted visiting Trump Tower on Tuesday...

A Cruz spokeswoman released a statement about the visit.

She said Cruz, who ultimately backed Trump, was there visiting with President-elect Donald Trump to help him achieve his goal: to “drain the swamp...”

My thoughts exactly. If Felito is asking for a job, it should be where he serves at the president’s pleasure.
The Supreme Court appointment has life-time tenure and Cruz can’t be trusted.
Besides, according to his supporters he’s great guns in the senate. Let him run again for senate in 2018.

Then Obama and Hillary meeting would have been with the Mayor of the city where the cops were killed, not a Texas Senator.

I’d believe your defense of Cruz if his meeting with Hillary and Obama on the plane hadn’t happened right before the GOP Convention...

... AND IF HILLARY HADN’T IMMEDIATELY TWEETED IN SUPPORT OF CRUZ’S EVIL “VOTE YOUR CONSCIENCE” SPEECH.

Face it, Cruz needed cash. And he got it from Hillary right before the convention. He wrote Bush’s Amnesty position papers, Neil Bush ran his finance on his campaign...

The question is, why do you still defend him?

Cruz is a pathological liar. He has zero ethics or sense of morality. He sand-bagged Trump and broke his sworn pledge to support and endorse the Republican nominee.

Apparently the following is acceptable behavior for many.

Trump could be recruiting him for position (which would be fine) or just coordinating on strategy and asking for Cruz’s help in the Senate. In any event - at this point - the primary battles are long over and they both are about the business of changing the status quo.

Oh, and P.S. this article was written right before the GOP convention.

The meeting on the plane with ObamaHillary and Cruz was odd enough to illicit attention before Cruz’s evil convention speech, but afterwards, it was obvious what happened...

People don’t do things like meet with Hillary and Obama just for the fun of it.

Put your thinking-cap on. Thanks.

Trump could use Cruz as a lightning rod during transition period. There is going to be a budget fight before January. It's time for Cruz to do his grand standing.
Cruz stays in the Senate.
Perhaps he could help succeed in shutting down the government until Trump is in to approve a budget?
The establishment intends to leave a mess for Trump to come in and deal with.

Do you REALLY think Cruz invited himself to Trump Tower?

Scratch that, you and your pinglist probably do.

I hope they surround him and pelt him with eggs up against the door when he tries to leave.

I am NOT defending Cruz...I'm defending TRUMP...it isn't that hard to realize that...

What I said was with all these people whining about everything Trump does now days is ‘oh I don't like this person, I don't like that person, oh he shouldn't be thinking about this person or that person for this position or that position’...

We were not in that meeting, we don't know what was said, we don't know what is going on, any more than the media, pundits and talking heads...Trump warned us: “If you don't hear it from me, don't believe it, the media are liars”...remember that???

THIS is what I said in that post!!! Support Trump in all that he is doing, or get the hell off the Trump Train...you and I are NOT going to be invited to the White House for dinner, so wait until we hear from Trump what is happening before falling all over your tongue, or in case, your fingers...

This article was written days before the GOP convention and Cruz’s “vote your conscience” anti Trump speech: http://dcwhispers.com/ted-cruz-photographed-barack-obama-valerie-jarrett-hillary-clinton-days-gop-convention/

It was weird enough then for someone to take notice that Cruz was on a long plane trip with President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Valerie Jarrett...

... but AFTER the convention, and after Hillary tweeted in support of Ted Cruz after his vile RNC speech, it was obvious that this was a “plane bribe” to pay off Cruz’s campaign debts in exchange for NOT endorsing Donald Trump at his OWN convention.

Lyin’ Ted and Crooked Hillary.

I can’t jump in on the Lee Harvey Cruz stuff.

I’d rather see stuff about HW Bush and Rafael Cruz if both were in the CIA in the early sixties.

Then the career of “lying Ted” would suddenly make sense.

I don’t think Trump is being hypocritical.

Trump is mission oriented. He does not hold grudges or have a little black book where he crosses out names.

Every person, even strong opponents, are a channel for him to fulfill the larger mission of making America great again.

I took note when the Mercer brothers decided to back Trump, then I knew at that time, Cruz would not go against his main financiers.

.
Cruz was the initiator of the rebellion against illegal immigrants, and the brains behind the killing of “immigration reform” bills with his poison pill amendments.

Cruz is very valuable for his in depth knowledge of the present sitting federal judges.

As Conservatives it’s important we get our voices out there. We all believe that or we wouldn’t be here.

I do not trust Ted Cruz. He has proven himself to be far less than I had hoped for. I’m going to address him from that perspective every time I see his name raised.

He’s not going to simply rehab his image while I remain mute. NOT GONNA HAPPEN!

Trump needs to hear from the rank and file, and I’m about as rank as it gets. “:^)
