Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller says he fired a campaign worker who posted an obscene reference to Hillary Clinton on Millers official Twitter account.
The Austin American-Statesman reportedly obtained a letter Miller sent to Department of Agriculture employees apologizing for the furor the tweet caused.
Miller campaign spokesman Todd Smith says the fired employee worked for a third-party vendor hired to do social media.

But was the tweet true?
posted an obscene reference to Hillary Clinton—is there any other?
What IS there to Tweet about That B*tch, other than obscenities? ;)
Started with ‘c’ but not cankles.
It was worse than the word you referenced.
Belt buckle? I guess I missed that.
Well, I can’t stand the sight/thought of her, and even *I* wouldn’t call her that!
You’re Fired! :)
That was quick ..yet liberal CEO linger longer before they are chastised! Still waiting for the CEO of Pepsi to be given her walking papers!!
Took me a moment...
Ouch!
1. I believe in freedom of speech, but that doesn’t give someone the right to say anything on an employer’s account or on government time.
2. Whatever you think of the post, in order to be fair, you have to treat it the same way as you would have treated an obscene post about Trump or anyone else.
3. WHAT IS WRONG in this country that people are getting fired for puny offenses like this????? I can understand disciplinary action, but seriously, do we have to fire people any time they say something we don’t like? (This (name-calling) is different from the CEO who was fired for making a death threat.) Incompetent people are kept on the job, but people who say something stupid are fired.
