NY Times fears their playhouse (and future bail outs) will be trashed. I’m overjoyed.

Under Obama, D.C. and its suburbs have become the highest-income areas in the entire country. (Why are we not surprised.)
Some of the D.C. economy will take a little hit. The money flow from well-paid elite federal "workers" and lobbyists may diminish, but won't stop.
A Reagan biographer wrote that the D.C. social set never accepted Nancy and Ronald Reagan, and they were effectively isolated in the White House. (No wonder they returned to the Western White House so often.)
President Reagan didn't give a fig about Washington's social rejection, but it did hurt Nancy's feelings.

Speaking of culture in Washington... how about if Trump goes after prostitution and other vices. He could say, " you're in Washington to WORK! If you want to play, do it somewhere else."
I am tired of our public servants effing off on our dollar.

That's the sort of culture you get in a petri dish when the pathogen has been in the incubator too long. I really don't mind hedonism, but I do mind it being on my dime. And in any case, it isn't as if any haute cuisine left in town. I hear the restaurant in the Trump Hotel is pretty good...

These exaggerations just keep getting crazier by the day!
The liberals are over the top insane, what the heck is wrong with them?! I can’t stand to read another shriek, cry, screech, exaggeration propaganda piece!
Running their party on gross negligent fear mongering and that is a disservice to their members, let alone the country.

When Trump won, I just assumed, without really thinking about it, that this was it. He won and now he’ll be President. It didn’t take a day for me to be disabused of this notion. If anything, the media has shed whatever moral fetters it may have felt bound by, in the name of “fairness”, and is now amassing its resources for a relentless campaign of harassment. I still haven’t sufficiently steeled myself for this.
