Michael Savage Warns Donald Trump: ‘Rinse’ Reince; He’s ‘Everything the Voters Rejected’
Breitbart ^ | 11/13/2016 | JULIA HAHN

Posted on 11/13/2016 4:35:57 PM PST by BlackFemaleArmyColonel

President-elect Donald Trump should not select Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus as his Chief of Staff, says Michael Savage, the national talk radio host and author of the new book Scorched Earth: Restoring the Country After Obama.

Priebus is “the enemy within,” Savage warns.

“He’s the RNC! Everything the voters rejected,” Savage tells Breitbart News. “He will steer Trump away from every policy we sent him to D.C. to change. He is the enemy within. He is [Paul] Ryan, [Mitch] McConnell, and the Old Guard. They do not want change. ‘Out with the old, in with the new.'”

A close Ryan ally, Priebus was responsible for the GOP “autopsy” following the Romney-Ryan loss of 2012. One of its conclusions held that, to win elections, Republicans must embrace an immigration agenda that would import future voters who tend to overwhelmingly support Democrat policies. The Priebus manifesto argued against opposing amnesty and appealing to the Republican electorate’s “core constituency.”

“We must embrace and champion comprehensive immigration reform. If we do not, our Party’s appeal will continue to shrink to its core constituencies only,” the Priebus report stated.

By contrast, for years Savage has argued that Republican candidates should run campaigns on “borders, language, and culture.”

“I call him ‘Rinse,'” Savage said of Priebus, adding that’s “what Trump should do with his advice.”

Savage’s talk radio show, which is one of the most listened-to talk radio programs in the country, reaches an audience over 20 million listeners and is syndicated by over some 400 stations nationwide. This week, Savage will be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in the category of Spoken Word On-Air Personality.

I don’t recall anything Reince said that betrayed Trump.

A lot of Cruzbots here don’t like him because Reince did not allow
a contested convention. The butt hurt still runs rampant here.

It was thinks like this that caused me to have problems with him. I'm tired and I'm not going to look up more stuff now.

Here's the comment:

Certainly, Priebus did not refrain from criticizing Trump after the candidate first unveiled his proposal to ban all Muslim immigrants from the country.

“I don’t agree,” he said. “We need to aggressively take on radical Islamic terrorism but not at the expense of our American values.” But when asked to consider the political ramifications for the GOP in a general election, Priebus refused to expand on his critique. “That’s as far as I’m going to go,” he said.

When our side is trying to talk sense about young military age men from Syria flooding our nation, it's not productive at all to challenge a candidate on the topic. It gives the press the chance to capitalize it from the top of our party.

I found this here: http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/07/2016-gop-convention-reince-priebus-donald-trump-214078

In truth, Priebus was evidently taking it from all sides. I had not been aware of that to the extent it is played up in the article. It seemed to me like sore losers were the ones hurling attacks at him around convention time. Considering the source, I'm not buying in much on their descriptions of things. I did the quote, because that's pretty much on the record.

This article says decent things about him too. I'm not sure I buy into the idea he was shining Trump's shoes (figuratively) though. Not at all...

You’re an idiot!

This has no relationship to any convention.

Prebius is total NWO trash. Savage is rarely right, but he has this one down pat.

Sure it is. You were a huge Cruz supporter.
And you are angry at Reince for not allowing a contested convention.
You were for a contested convention that would have stolen the nomination
from Trump to benefit Cruz.

Preibus is an excellent choice. He’s going to need help getting his agenda thru. Preibus will be a huge asset to the Trump Team.

Savage and the rest of the yakkers may as well change the name of their programs to “Second Guessing Trump 2017”.

How boring.

And not even a week yet; reminds me what Moses had to deal with ...

Unfortunately.

Agreed, let Trump have a chance to do his thing. He has much wisdom working in business and dealing with corrupt NYC. He’s not naïve. Whoever he picks, he may have a good reason.

If Trump does 1/2 of what he promised, our country will improve 1000%. The media will try to trick his supporters DAILY for the next 4 years. Purists like Mark Levin, who expect perfection, will nit pick every decision he makes. Ignore them, for they do not know jack squat.

‘friends close
enemies CLOSER!’

Hopefully Reince isn’t thinking the same thing......

My gut is that he’s not.

Right, trump is drawing the GOP into his circle. This is an essential part of persuasion. Reince is probably just happy to be included in the inner circle. Also notice that the RNC Chair and the CEO of Breitbart are hired as peers. These are two opposing voices from my perspective. One will moderate and if necessary replace the other if they get out of line.

I think that this is a smart business move. I can only hope that this kind of business intelligence carries forward to the other required personnel decisions.

Preibus kept the NeverTrumpers at bay during the RNC.

From wikipedia;
“ The position is a modern successor to the earlier role of the president’s private secretary........”

“......The duties of the White House chief of staff vary greatly from one administration to another, and in fact, there is no legal requirement that the president even fill the position. However, since at least 1979, all presidents have found the need for a chief of staff, who typically oversees the actions of the White House staff, manages the president’s schedule, and decides who is allowed to meet with the president. Because of these duties, the chief of staff has at various times been labeled “The Gatekeeper”, or “the power behind the throne”.[citation needed] “

As long as Rinse sticks with Secretary/Office Manager/Translator, he’s perfect. Just needs to stay away from that “power behind the throne” part. Steve Bannon will be right there and I think he’s going to be a watch dog. It’s in his nature.

Two people from opposite ends of the Right; Checks/Balance

Trump ain’t dumb.

I was thinking the same thing. Trump has his own way of running a business and this is characteristic to get different views and then he makes decisions. He knows what he’s doing.
