Nearly 16,000 comments on the original Hill article. I've never seen so many comments before. Almost all are anti-Clinton, pro-Trump now that that legions of paid Hillary trolls are no longer being paid and have slunk back into the woodwork.

[hopefully i didn't violate any rules with this post. I thought it a worthwhile article to post again, particularly the comments.]

Looks like an outpouring of legitimate, returning commenters who had previously been driven off by the inanity of the paid Hillary trolls.

“shocking loss”

One wins, the other loses. Deal with it.

Aides and supporters of her campaign who were dying to go on to 8 years of complete power, long enough to transition to the assistance for Chelsea in her Senatorial Bid and then onto her Presidency. That’s the plan they had, and now it’s kaput.

It’s not shocking if anyone really had their finger on the pulse of grassroots America.

If you think they are depressed now, wait the the full realitiy soaks in - that their unlikabe, dishonest, corrupt candidate and her dishonest biased propagandists in the media actually created the Trump Movement.

It wasn’t the result of “bad polls”, it was caused by bad people.

I hope their grief renders them catatonic. I hope they wake up screaming every night for the next four years, and that they start at every shadow and wind-blown leaf that crosses their paths. I hope their utter despair drives them to the brink of suicide ... and beyond.

They are the enemies of faith, freedom, and America. May anguish be their constant companion until they draw their last breath.

DC is about to undergo what we have for 8 years. The million or so of denizens that used to comprise team zero and team illary are out of a job, with no private-sector rescue jobs thanks to leftist policy. Let that sink in for a bit. One million brand-new For Sale signs festooning the suburbs... all completely unanticipated by the rats.

I expect the most commonly-heard phrase there is ‘we have to MOVE?’

I’m sitting here thinking about Georgie Soros walking around wringing his greedy, filthy hands. Hopefully, Trump will extradite him to Russia. They want him bad.

“shocking loss”

Exactly!

If those lying, deceptive pollsters hadn’t rigged their polls for a predetermined outcome, then Trump’s win would have been foretold all along.

He has also been convicted of violating French securities law. I don’t know if the violation means any jail time or not. If it was just a fine I’m sure he paid that, but maybe not. He may think he’s above that!

I read a sympathetic article about Huma, and what’s next for Huma.

They said how Huma became a Clinton White House intern at age 20, while finishing up college. And how Huma has been with Hillary in some capacity for the last 20 years. The only thing on Huma’s professional resume is working for Hillary.

And we are supposed to feel sorry for Huma, for hitching her star to the wrong wagon.

These liberals need to know, if they didn’t already, that politics is a rough business, if that’s your chosen career. Elections happen. Your candidate doesn’t always win. Liberalism may be their true religion, but not everyone shares that view of America, and in spite of the euphoria of the last eight years for liberals, they need to learn that there won’t always be liberals in control of government. They may find themselves out in the cold.

These are actually good life lessons that liberal political hacks are learning now, especially young 20 something liberals, who may never have experienced any failures in life.

Yes, wait until they see First Lady Melania in the most beautiful ball gown in 50 years dancing with President Trump. It will be really “yuuuge I will tell you” in the setting in of reality. Better plan for an uptick in need to man the phones for the suicide hotline. I’ll go out on a limb and predict most calls will originate from sanctuary cities.

alas..... now they must find a real job and that means real work.

They're going to feel even worse when they discover they have no marketable skills in the real world....not even in liberal states with $15/hr minimum wage.

The left is so stupid, they thought they knew better than us. The pols I looked at showed Trump could win. The all out panic in the Clinton campaign in the last weeks showed Trump could win. I do not recall ever seeing so many high powered surrogates campaign in multiple states the week of the election for someone else. They knew it was much closer than the media let on.

I read a long article in a magazine several years ago that
stated that a CLINTON DYNASTY had been planned. . with
8 yrs. of Bill Clinton, 8 yrs. of Albert Gore & the 8 yrs.
of Hillary Clinton. However, it did not, thank the Good
Lord, materialize the way the Clintons planned. The way
this writer describes it now includes CHELSEA CLINTON,
then Hillary & Bubba’s grandchildren (with some V. Pres.
flunky serving as a seat warmer until the grandchildren
could grow up enough).

THANK YOU, LORD, for determining THIS HORROR was not to
be.

Why is Hillary shocked??....

In 2008, she lost the nomination within the walls of her own party....to a clean, articulate, unknown, black, male.

I said it before...had she run as Obama's VP....she might be president elect today. Alas...her damn ego got in the way.

(Thank you God)

America's Founders and Framers of its Constitutional structure limiting the scope of power for those entrusted with power in government warned of the need for "the People" to rein in those who would endanger liberty.

As a matter of fact, Thomas Jefferson, that great Author of our Declaration of Independence and President of the United States provided us with an indisputable reason for rejecting a Hillary presidency, because, by the Year 2016, America had almost reached the point he described here:

"I am not among those who fear the people. They...are our dependence for continued freedom. And to preserve their independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts, as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds...our people...must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses; and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they (the British) now do, on oatmeal and potatoes; have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers....This example reads to us the salutary lesson that private fortunes are destroyed by public, as well as by private extravagance. And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from the principle in one instance, becomes a precedent for a second; that second for a third; and so on, till the bulk of society is reduced to be mere automatons of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering. Then begins, indeed, the 'bellum omnium in omnia,' which some philosophers...have mistaken for the natural, instead of the abusive, state of man. And the fore-horse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression." - Thomas Jefferson
Now, "the People" must now to hold those they have elected in 2016 to the principles and ideas of liberty outlined in the speeches and writings of the Founders, including the 85 Essays of The Federalist, which were the Framers' own explanations of the Constitution. We may never get the opportunity again.
