Yeah, sure. Everything will be forgiven after a single mea culpa letter. NOT. They have to earn back the people’s trust. Unfortunately for them, that will take years. Maybe decades.
Oh, they get it. They just won’t take it.
They insist on self-destruction, and they refuse to alter course for something as petty as readership.
“Blowing it on TRUMP.” Meaning they didn’t lie, collude, deceive enough to get Hillary the Presidency.
This is what I got from their explanation:
They realize that they need to hire more reporters who understand voters in rural America - anywhere more then 10 miles outside DC, NYC, SF, Chicago, any other liberal paradise.
These new reporters, with greater understanding of the average American, will be able to explain to us stupid rubes how dangerous someone like Trump is and convince us to vote for the correct candidate next time.
They’ll also probably hire more feminists since voters need to understand how important it is to have a vagina in the oval office and the reporters they have were not able to explain this properly to all the morons who are unfortunately allowed to vote.
Enough with the establishment media hand wringing about how they “blew it” with Trump. They intentionally pushed their fake propaganda polls and pundit lies, all the while knowing that Trump was leading Team Hag.

I agree with you. The NYTimes’s election online graphs and info were very good.
However, IMO, the rest of the paper has been biased in a holier-than-thou academic way.
