Grubhub CEO Matt Maloney found himself fighting backlash to a post-Election Day email he sent to employees Wednesday that asked employees who didn't agree with the company's "culture of support and inclusiveness"(i.e. support President Trump) to resign.
The missive was sent to more than 1,000 Grubhub employees Wednesday in response to past statements made by President-elect Donald Trump.
"While demeaning, insulting and ridiculing minorities, immigrants and the physically/mentally disabled worked for Mr. Trump, I want to be clear that this behavior - and these views, have no place at Grubhub," Maloney wrote in his email.
Maloney pledged to fight for the dignity of his employees, should any of them feel scared following Trump's election to the presidency...

“WHERE ARE THE FEDS?,EEOC?,US ATTORNEY/............”
They are waiting in the wings until 1/21/17.
I defend my right to not use his company.
Posted a comment on their web site that we were looking for a service such as his company offers. Thanked him for helping me narrow down the list.
Already on it see Ubereats
This CEO’s hatred and his description of Trump voters is so sick and wrong. Does he really believe Trump voters are as he describes them? That degree of hatred and stereotyping is as bad as any bigotry that has ever been used to commit genocide. Such attitudes are deadly dangerous. It is no wonder this election came as a shock to the leftist haters—their employees and other people dared not provide any clue of support for American values or for Trump. To do so would have meant vile abuse, job loss, and social ostracism. I believe this is why the polls were so wrong before the election. It was too dangerous to answer poll questions honestly.
Go to their chat page and tie the. Up if ur board. No support in my area so can’t boycot anyone. Chat and ask for a list
BTW their tech sucks.
Would be very effective to boycott the restaurants they serve.
As long as they do business with them we will not do business with them.
I wouldn't bet the farm on it.
What in nell is a grubdub or dubgrub and should we give a happy crap what they say?
Maloney@grubhub.com seems to deliver. Anyone find his corporate email?
The grub hub service type is a great thing for business travelers
Can tell you how many times I have gotten in late, no restaurants in sight and have ordered over internet. Thirty mins later, nice hot foods!!
This guy’s just plain stoopid lib.
To be fair, if I owned a business, I might do the same, just not in such a blatant way. I would just note, bumper stickers and such.
My kids like my occasional Buy-cott days. Stop by Hobby Lobby for gifts for gift closet/kids’ school projects, then hit Chick-Fila on the way home for dinner.
Intentionally supporting Christian businesses that stood up to Obama’s policies. Well, the kids are more interested in crafts and cookies, but they understand that we do this because others said we shouldn’t.
