Grubhub CEO Matt Maloney found himself fighting backlash to a post-Election Day email he sent to employees Wednesday that asked employees who didn't agree with the company's "culture of support and inclusiveness"(i.e. support President Trump) to resign.
The missive was sent to more than 1,000 Grubhub employees Wednesday in response to past statements made by President-elect Donald Trump.
"While demeaning, insulting and ridiculing minorities, immigrants and the physically/mentally disabled worked for Mr. Trump, I want to be clear that this behavior - and these views, have no place at Grubhub," Maloney wrote in his email.
Maloney pledged to fight for the dignity of his employees, should any of them feel scared following Trump's election to the presidency...

Staggering how so many companies go out of their way to surrender 50%+ of their customer base. What board and shareholders allow this?
Like those morons at Anheiser Bush with their Democrat political ads. Could they have been more wrong and out of sync with Americans?

Fox and Friends have been giving him publicity the last couple of days. Not the kind any business would want. Would any known Trump supporters want anything to do with this company preparing their food?

Don’t build your business on ripping off the name of another company (StubHub).

Well, I don't exactly live in a cave on a deserted island, but I never heard of "Grubhub" in my life...and I've never seen a single TV ad for whatever or wherever it is.
Who is this jerk, where is his business located, is he the owner, do they have restaurants or whatever?
I've never, ever heard the word "Grubhub" here in Florida....
Can some one elucidate?

There are alternatives. Waitr is an up and coming one plus google eats and whatever it is that Yelp has that I wouldn’t recommend.

I mean at least Jeep with the Cat Stevens song was trying to somewhat play it down the middle.
I don’t get this crap about a company taking a stand for one candidate.

Basically an uber type service for restaurant delivery in your neighborhood.
They don’t provide the food, just pickup and delivery.

Anheiser Bush is now owned by a foreign company. Never liked their beer anyway.

to give you an idea of their clients, here is one of their front page endorsements.
Made my first @Grubhub order today.
So great to be able to order food
and not have to talk to anyone.
