Mr. Trumps administration is being assembled behind the scenes. But like much else in the nations capital, little stays secret for long.
The list of names being mentioned as possibilities for crucial posts in Mr. Trumps cabinet is growing by the hour, giving official Washington what it craves most: a never-ending parlor game as speculation grows about who might actually get the nod.
A big revelation may come soon, according to Mr. Trump himself, who took to Twitter on Friday morning with some news. Busy day planned in New York, the president-elect said. Will soon be making some very important decisions on the people who will be running our government. ...
For now, the vice president-elect, Mike Pence, will play a more prominent role, according to two advisers to Mr. Trump, as will Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama. Both Mr. Pence and Mr. Sessions have been involved in the transition since it began, but Mr. Christies role may now change, according to the advisers.

Mr. Giuliani told CNN on Thursday that he might accept an appointment as attorney general, saying that theres probably nobody that knows the Justice Department better than me.

Pence is a budding superstar.
Without Twitter he may not, probably not, have become President.
Without Twitter, he may not be as successful a President Trump.
I have...I agree. Guiliiani Has been a great asset during the campaign.
That speculation is purely based on Jared being on the visit to the WH and seen strolling with Obama’s current chief of staff.
He has zero experience in Washington or politics and I would be shocked if he were given the job.
Yes, there’s an ambassador to the Vatican. I remember Ray Flynn of MA fame holding that position. Santorum would be an excellent choice also.
‘Raymond Leo Flynn, known as Ray Flynn, served as Mayor of Boston, Massachusetts from 1984 until 1993. He was later appointed United States Ambassador to the Holy See by President Bill Clinton.

I am thinking Rudy for AG, and Christie for Assistant AG. Rudy would easily pass confirmation, and Christie would not have to. Then let Rudy Steer the ship and have Christie expend the energy on the cases.
Now I am excited. I think Santorum would be honored. I am tweeting every hour to trump, pence, kellyanne, etc until they listen to me. Lol.
Stop with the nonsense. What you're all upset because I didn't say that Chris is now a Vice Chair.
Christie has be jettisoned as Chair. Conservatives Pence and Sessions are now in as the all important Chairs.
I would guess that Trump feels a certain loyalty to Christie and Christie does have some good attributes that can be put to good use as Vice Chair.
But it will be Pence and Sessions who make the final important recommendations to Trump.
That's a good move.
That would be an excellent arrangement. Rudy would be an historically great AG, and Christie as assistant would only make it better.
I think he does it to keep in touch with WE THE PEOPLE. Do not think he will change...
Rudy in charge of DOJ is far better. The FBI doesn’t make decisions on who and who not to prosecute. Lynch deferred to Comey on Hillary knowing what he would do.
I hope your tweets get through! Agree that Santorum would be honored; it’s a rare and no doubt unforgettable experience.
Thanks. Fingers crossed. Prayers going out. :-)
Is the pedo stuff for real? I was hoping it was just a planted distraction from the rest of the massive fraud and treason. If it is true, these kids need to be saved asap.
While it would bring down a circle of influential rats, it will demoralize the people.
Makes me wonder, cause I don't read it, if the NYT is a coloring book? If it is, the commenters are coloring way outside the lines! Lunatics abounding on the site!
Stop the bull sh*t. I couldn’t care less what they do with Christie. Fact is you’re on record as suggesting Trump took “Levin’s” advise when Christie along with Giuliani was moved to vice chair.
You’re FOS.
Comey can’t put the bullet back in the gun. He’s done.
