While some pundits are declaring the Clinton political dynasty dead, sources tell us that it is far from over. Chelsea Clinton is being groomed for the New York seat held by Rep. Nita Lowey.
Chelsea could run for the seat in NYC’s 17th Congressional District once Lowey, a respected, 79-year-old career politician with nearly 30 years in office, decides to retire, we have exclusively learned.
Lowey’s district includes parts of Rockland and Westchester counties and, conveniently, Chappaqua, the Clinton family home base.

Running for congress requires actual work.
I do not believe she is capable of working more than a few hours a day. If she does somehow buy herself a seat, she will step down before her two years are up.
I just cannot envision a spoiled brat like Chelsea Clinton wanting to be in Washington DC all day long.

I would disagree....if she is a real NY City resident, it’s a 90-percent chance that she could be elected (without a lot of extra spending).
I would even go and predict that by 2030....she’s likely to be a US senator from NY state.
